I think chris is the wineer
To the contestant who didn’t win, your weapon would have definitely been chosen on the field because the people who use this stuff are trained to handle the weight and they can use it to the best of their capability. The judges have no technique in their swing.
Same shishpar, different day.
wonder if you can forge this instead of wielding the flanges on.
Tabar shispar in Persian means 6 horns axe
shishpar in persian means 6 sides. Shish= 6 (six) and par = side.
Those faults Mark found and removed may have lightened his weapon enough to satisfy the judges. Surely this man is being backed by Vulcan?
Santa Claus is a pretty good smithy
I only like when he hits the chest cavity it is so satisfying for me. Those weapons will KEAL?! 😀
As soon as he doubled his handle I knew he was done, unless the other guy’s weapon broke. Too bad.
I think they got this one wrong. The heavier mace did exactly what a mace is supposed to do and destroyed that armour, the winning mace did some damage but the loser would have devastated an enemy even in full plate mail
Its a persian wepon, tabar means axe and shish par means with six edges.
Wouldn’t that extra mass help out with the destructive capabilities
Teber- Şeşper
Osmanlı, topuzlu baltasıdır

“It’s hard to say who’s going to win.”
Famous last words of the smith with the heavier weapon.
It’s just a flesh wound.
These two guys look like the dwarven blacksmiths in legends.
gk
In fact the accurate pronunciation of that is /tæbær ʃiːʃpær/
This weapon is awesome! It kind of reminds me of a gaffi stick from Star Wars.
Chris was cheated.
Tabar shish par (persian) = Six-bladed ax
Instead of doubling the tube with a much thicker tube like Christopher did, inserting a wooden rod would have done the job just as well with much less weight. Then, he could have also quenched the shaft.
Dough tested Mark’s weapon first and noted how light it was. That’s the moment when Mark won. Only a catastrophic failure could have prevented him from wining.
As soon as the one guy put an extra tube inside the handle and commented on the extra weight, I knew he wasn’t going to win.
Honestly, the whole point of a mace is to ignore armor and kill a guy no matter how much protection he has. If you compare the damage they did to the armor, it was clear to me that Chris’s weapon was much better at that. Weight is a disadvantage on a sword but a mace is supposed to be heavy.
Please include history of weapon segment. It is more fascinating than whole video.
Flanged mace on one end, battle axe on the other.
The guy on the vest’s tabar was CLEARLY a better killing weapon.… but it’s too heavy 😭
honestly its the fact he doubled up the tube that screwed it back in the day thinner wall tube such as 4mm to 5mm was used and it more over iron or closer to low carbon steel for the structure and high carbon for flanges and axe heads
This is not tabar this is gorz
