everytime i see this machine it reminds me of house of cards
Lol! I thought it was a rowing/washing machine hybrid at first.
As someone who owns a Concept 2 rower that’s been sitting in the basement unused for most of the last 10 years, take it from me: a rower will be clutter 3 months from now. I’m content achieving cardiovascular health through diet, not exercise.
I like it, a lot. These networked exercised machines will definitely kill the boredom and increase the likelihood of maintaining a regular exercise regiment. I just hope they become affordable. Not too crazy about the monthly server fee. I think that should be included with the price of the equipment.
Let’s get sweaty with Bridget.
Looks like you are washing your clothes in the front of that machine 🙂
2:04 Don’t worry, other people probably weren’t talking during the race, I guess they were just focusing on proper breathing and performance 🙂
Leginses mmmm…
<3
I wish they’d made this for Concept 2 rowers instead of water rowers. Better rowing experience and you may actually get competition from legitimately competitive athletes, since that is the standard equipment to use in the rowing community (and CrossFit, and most gyms)
Can you throw some clothes on that doing thing and do some laundry as well. I honestly thought it was aa washing machine.
🏋🏽♀️🔥
She is so cute. And a $2000 rowing machine in a $5000/month apartment? Nice. I only have crappy magnetic resistance one.
You’ve got to get your timing when pulling the rope, you must bend your body to get extra power,
I wish it had an option to wash clothes in it. It would conserve a lot of energy.
sorry to be form police but that hurts the eyes
Is there any function without the monthly subscription??
Arms before knees!
Just picked up a hydrow connected rower and love it so far. I would love to see a comparison between these two great machines. They also have a 30 day full money back guarantee which Ergatta does not. If the concept 2 had connected software options like these do it would take them to another level. Thanks for this review. I haven’t seen anything else anywhere yet.
If you want you can learn from Unflexal instructions how to do workouts correctly.
Calling racing with or against other rowers a “game” is misleading. I thought I would see something interesting and different, but more of the same, with yet another subscription cost to boot. I think I’ll go with a WaterRower without all the bells and whistles.
Thanks. It would be interesting to see this compared to the Hydrow rower, which seems to have a similar price point.
No adjustable resistance? Same workout every day/row faster. PAY for the subscription? Buy a First Degree rower like I did, do yourself a favor.
so the rower is an ergatta rower or waterrower I thought they were two different brands? can you help clear that up, thanks
I am not a rower, i have been rowing for a month or so, but even to me that form was terrible. It looks like it hurts…
Wow her eyes 👀
I own a Water Rower — it is GREAT! I have smart speakers in my home gym and have playlists on SPOTIFY I listen to while sweating bullets.
The Hydrow looks a little more insteresting…
I will NEVER leave my concept 2!!!
You have beautiful blue eyes!
Yeah, I have Ergatta and love it, but your form is painful to watch. You shouldn’t be bending your knees until your torso and arms are forward.
Thanks for testing this out! Some pointers on your form. I was a varsity rower. When you push off you want only your legs to move first. Your arms should stay extended and parallel and come into your chest as you fully extend your legs. Once your legs are extended and arms are at your chest THEN slightly lean back. So it goes Legs, Arms, Lean. On the way back, do the opposite. Let your arms reel forward first and at the end of that motion your legs should come in and then you will lean your chest to knees. Keep your back and shoulders straight and avoid that dip when you’re coming in from the extension. It feels really awkward when you’re used to having “your own” form, but this will benefit you in the long term and improve your metrics!
Oh dear — her form is terrible ! Arms over knees before you bend the knees on recovery to the catch !
Thank you for all the info
Do they stole the waterrower design. Wow.
Every time I use a rowing machine I get this really sharp pain in my knee for a few days. What’s up with this — bad form?
👚 🩳 👕 👔 👖 I wish they included a large hatch so I could toss in my laundry while I work out. 😂
Sie zeigt das Gerät gut aber die Haltung und Umsetzung ist sooo falsch
horrible posture demonstrated here on the rowing machine (Catch, drive, recovery😱)
Why are people commenting on her form? This was the first and last time she will be going near an erg machine. Lol
Someone’s back is going to hurt
Can I get this screen attached to my concept 2 lol
Is it me or is she rowing wrong?
Never seen someone befördert rowing that wrong 🙈
“No,no,no — I have to beat somebody here, come on!” — 1:48
Looks to me that the only one you have to beat, is yourself.…… If I was you, just rent a rower and start doing beginner exercises and work on your form and stamina. See if you like it to row everyday and when you are confident enough, buy a SmartRow Kit. No monthly cost, more information on your rowing technique and also the ability to row races against others.
You need someone to show you how to properly row. Your form is WAY OFF!!!!
we need a diy for this, the price is stupid!
Don’t take the form comments in a bad way, but take them to heart ❤️ Everything from hand placement to the four sections of the row that form the out/in stroke, to breathing, will make you faster and more efficient. Check out the Concept2 site for videos, or Dark Horse Rowing… I’ve learned a ton from Shane there. You’ll be passing some of those dots there on the screen in no time!
What is the correct rowing technique?
