Watching this seems like I wanted to visit the past and be part of it in a short time.
Coffee and Hardtack were the core Union ration. Coffee was popular but hardtack was definitely not.
Are you sure that’s real. It seems very clean and the hard tack I had doesn’t break up so easy and you can’t bite thru it without soaking it. You seemed to break that up and eat it like it was a cracker for cheese. lol
THESE GUYS ARE BIG FAT PHONYS!!!!
Steve1989MREinfo is the real Antique food collector/enthusiast
So basically Ashens
This show has nothing on Steve. Shameless corporate thievery.
Next season: A loaf of bread from Jesus’s last supper.
i imagine if you didnt eat 106 year old hardtack and maybe ate like a week old hardtack made the same way it probably wouldnt taste like a basement. it probably taste like a basement because it was found in a basement
so the history channel is basically ripping off youtubers.
“It was hated” as I sit here with my home made hard tack with my soup…
Bunch of lies !!
Total cringe watching these bozos. I’ll stick to watching Steve1989mreinfo.

I can’t say that I would never eat hardtack but I will do my best not to. LOL
These types of history videos are perfect for me to watch I because I would never have the balls to eat something that is over 150 years I love how stupid some people could be even trying to ingest something that old and possibly dangerous 🤣😆
ngl looks very tasty
저걸 아직 먹을수 있도록 보존이 된 게 신기하다ㄷ
Steve did it better
Asian and European Markets often have hard tack and digestive biscuits, that are good for dunking in coffee. They also have various coffee choices.
It probably tasted so bad because it was so old. I had Hard tack that was maybe a few weeks old and it wasn’t bad nor wasn’t good ether. It was bland at best. 😌
Steve 1989 needs prime time like this!
The reunion footage they showed from 1:20 — 1:27 was from the 1938 reunion, not the 1913 reunion.
Also, the newspaper it was wrapped in was from my birthday. I was born 79 yrs after the 1913 reunion.
