I’ve been fascinated with this subject ever since I saw “Hellfighters” when I was 6 years old.
I worked for Boots & Coots/International Well Control back in the late 90’s. By far one of the most dangerous jobs but more rewarding I’ve ever done. Now I’m just a small town local Assistant Fire Chief. Man what I would do to be young again. Great memories working with the best of the best folks.
Never dealt with any oil well fires. I was mainly just a regular firefighter, who put out the occasional house fire or car fire. But it’s all the same, take away one part of the triangle, the fire is going out. I salute my brothers who do this job. They are awesome.
Not firefighters, the are fire men!
That’s one job if you’re going to do you better have your balls screwed on pretty tightly
0:08 the infamous sound used in all Roblox games
Banger episode
the whole was shorted by a ghost student
7:36 mainly because Oxygen is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to fuel sources. It goes crazy, bouncing off the walls and reacts violently with just about anything and everything! It just needs heat to be able to do it.
God Bless the men and women who fight those fires.
Where’s John Wayne?
i never thought corrugated tin was a very good flame & heat 🔥 barrier 😏
Back in the days of a boss who actually knew the job and had done it himself. Unfortunately respect and experience is becoming more rare by the day.
Wow!
That stuff is CRAZY!😮
Plainly Difficult sent me here!😅
Great episode of Modern Marvels, also, it was very nice of them to dedicate this to the late Red Adair.
My grandfather met one one of those three famous blow out specialist when he worked in an oil refinery!
Very good job dudes and well done!!! Congratulations 997.117% yo throughout the 4th sizzling week of said joyous June y’all. Brilliant work by 971 bonus points and imagine being a cool enough person that John Wayne makes a movie about you.
I don’t see many of those CSB broads out there behind a piece of tin, fighting a fire. That may mess their hair and makeup. But, they think with their Powerpoints and fancy books they can tell me how to do a real job. How about, make me a sammich.
Detroit Diesel of course. You want reliability. Sorry cummins and clatterpillar. 😅
