The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra’s telephoto camera is capable of 100x zoom, a feature the company dubs “space zoom.” So I found out when and where the International Space Station was going to pass by my apartment and tried to find it with space zoom. I also pitted space zoom against the iPhone 11 Pro’s zoom to see how superior, if at all, the S20 Ultra’s camera is to the iPhone’s.

You look like Marsilia from Casa de Papel
Man!!!! look at that traffic… Americans are not serious about the CORONA virus pandemic…
There can never be too many photos of your cat.
I remember you did a video on an electronic skate board
Easily, you are a metalhead! 🤭🤘
Really enjoyed this review from Nic, CNET. More reviews from him in the future
is this the moment lens dude
Great fun to watch!
I like Nic. More Nic please!
The ultra was absalutly stunning
Now that you have tried with the ISS. Try to capture any airplanes that pass by your apartment with the 100XZoom
May be Huawei P40 pro plus be the challenger of S20 ultra.
I’ve only used space zoom 3 times and that was to show someone
Modo Pro xD para apreciar mejor el cielo nocturno con el modo normal obvio se va a ver feo
Can you do a astrophotography comparison between them?
Found it with binoculars… took about 10 seconds and a lot less hassle. 😎
Do the moon!!!!
Me from my room : caught my ex dating an alien on mars ‚thanks space zoom !!
Uploader :
Next up : finding alien warships on a rogue planet ..
Followed by : zooming through black hole 🕳 with space zoom to see ourselves in the parallel universe!!
Hi, nice video, what app you using in iPhone that showing the star s
Digital zoom is just trash. No matter from which brand.
Lol i think 30x on s20 ultra is better than the 11 pro’s 5x
This phone costs 1 lakh in India (u can pretty much buy a car for that kind of price)
So it should definitely have some out of the world features to justify it’s cost 😜
clickbait busting 😋 don’t bother, the amount of detail in the space station image is exactly the same as in nokia phones 20 years go (that is, zero detail)
good attempt haha. i tried SUPERMOON with S20 Ultra which was fantastic! 🙂
Try new P40 Huawei soon 😁
Not buying, digital zoom is not real optical zoom, 100 x Zoom optical will see details not blur 😴😴😴😴😴😴
I actually would like to see you do, or try to do, the best macro that you can. Since you’re in the house anyway, and we know about the focal length of this phone, I’d like to see the best macro shots you could get with great lighting(of course that’s what you need for macro) I’m interested to see how the hardware handles something up really close. We know that it doesn’t do too well on CLOSE ups, but I mean hey, you’re going to be inside anyway. You could try it in different situations, with different objects. Salt, pepper, blah blah blah… I would really be interested to see what you could pull off. Coins mabey? I definitely understand that there is no macro mode, and this phone is not made for anything that, but nevertheless I believe I would find it interesting, and that you would find it entertaining to try and get the best shot of the closest thing you could! I mean I’m relatively certain that nobody else would try to tackle a photo mission such as this with this particular phone so…
Just an idea. I enjoyed this video, thanks!
This is now astronomy photography. Would be fun to use a tracking mount (more expensive than your phone). Also photo stacking would be needed.
I don’t understand why people think the 108mp camera will make a photo look any better at original scale? You can only notice it when you crop in
I like the way you used the ultra, you know what you are doing. I wonder why some people thinks that 100x is useless.
horrible phone not worth more than $500 a bought it and returned in just 2 days.. So sad
You should have used the pro mode. 100x zoom and lower shutter speed. this could have been a lot better.
Can you try it with Note 20 Ultra? It is definitely better.
I want to see jupiter
NOW LETS SEE ONE ON A STARLINK TRAIN!
Human Eyes= 576MP x 2 Lens
Samsung= 600MP x 1 Lens
😂😂that was cool. Great shot at trying to capture it
I did this with my S21 ultra and surprisingly you can make out a very tiny level of detail. It just looks like a bright dot with two tiny rectangles sticking from it.
