I was 53 no under­ly­ing con­di­tions when my watch told me I was in afib — I went to the car­di­ol­o­gist who ran all the tests and sure enough the watch was cor­rect. I used the pdf func­tion on the watch to send the trace to the Dr and they were blown away with how good the read­ing was — for peace of mind this watch was worth every pen­ny — thank you apple for this piece of tech — I believe you are sav­ing lives

This hap­pened to me this week, went to hos­pi­tal to con­firm glad I had an Apple watch

I’ve been expe­ri­enc­ing a sig­nif­i­cant issues with my Apple Watch series 6, specif­i­cal­ly when it comes to Siri. When­ev­er I wash my hands or have a show­er, Siri acti­vates with­out me say­ing ’ Hey Siri’ and not press­ing the Dig­i­tal Crown. Unfor­tu­nate­ly my wrist is not that flex­i­ble to sug­gest that it’s press­ing against the crown. Fur­ther­more, Siri ( on my watch) ran­dom­ly acti­vates when I am hav­ing a con­ver­sa­tion on the phone or with some­one face to face. Those con­ver­sa­tions do not include phras­es ’ hey Siri’. I have uploaded an exam­ple of Siri acti­vat­ing to the sound of run­ning water, on my chan­nel. Appre­ci­ate any views ?

I can’t afford a Apple Watch but I do have a inexspen­sive smart­watch that recent­ly saved my life recent­ly it helps me check my heart rate and blood pres­sure I once passed out at a con­struc­tion site I work for and this was on Wednes­day I start­ed feel­ing chest pain and I know I have heart rate and blood pres­sure and the sec­ond o stop­ping pick­ing up garbage I stood down for a mintune my heart rate was 100 my blood pres­sure was almost 200 and it was below I was light head­ed and almost passed out for a sec­ond time at the same con­struc­tion site my health cond­tion was relat­ed to food and after­words we stopped for lunch luck­i­ly I was able get at a decent heart rate

I love the sto­ries but the Nor­we­gian guy takes for­ev­er to explain his sto­ry so I had to fast for­ward his tur­tle like speak­ing. Nev­er believe some­one who says I’m super healthy and live a healthy life, there’s always under­lin­ing issues.

Same thing for me, it was my first day in the office after the pan­dem­ic and my watch kept on beep­ing because my heart rate was ele­vat­ed and I have to rush to the hos­pi­tal and it turns out I have hyper­thy­roidism and high-blood pressure.

Siri out here sav­ing lives

I’m about to update my apple watch bc I’ve done an EKG and found out I had an irreg­u­lar heart beat a few years ago. I’m also now asth­mat­ic and ane­mic …my step­mom just had emer­gency open heart surgery a few months ago out of nowhere. Heart dis­ease is no joke!
