Some documentaries are good some are horrible, as a professional winemaker this one was average
Seguin Moreau makes fantastic wine barrels my favorite barrels to use as a winemaker
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️✝️👣🌎🌹💌💯🔐💟💦🌈☀️💟🫶 Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you for love. Thank you for healing from alcohol. Thank you for new wine. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saviour??? I do. Thank you for your grace. Wine is a mocker. I pray for healing from alcoholism. I pray for no drinking and driving. I pray for healing from mixing chemicals. I pray for healing from backsliding. A little wine for an upset stomach. I pray for no upset stomach. I pray for the wine to be cut off when needed. I pray for dealing with grief properly. I pray to catch all the foxes that spoil the vineyards. In Jesus name. Amen 🙏
Amazing episode. Loved it the whole way.
Funny how wine and beer went in opposite directions over the centuries. Roman wine used to be very thin and watered down, while beer was originally very thick and soupy to the point of requiring a special straw to drink. Now, wine is viscous and strong, while the typical modern beer is very clear and pale and fizzy.
A 300 year old bottle tastes worse than a 30 days old box of wine.
It is pruved
I wonder if the industry has started using HPLC or UPLCs to start mapping their wines? It makes sense, especially if they want to identify and repeat certain prized vintages without the need of a sommelier and or a wine master.
The feeling that true Wine connoisseurs recieve when we bring the first batch to fruition each season, is remarkable. You can see, feel & smell the slight climate change and the intensity grow throughout our whole cell
block. As soon as we can bottle that first glove, the inmates will crowed our cell door with excitement. Because they all know its finally time to enjoy the fruits of our favorite contraband. 🍇🍹
All that old wine sitting in that very old cellar will never be enjoyed by anyone. In a way it’s just a waste.
Mention dom perignon but not Madame Clicquot when talking about champagne and the riddling process eh? Shame.
The judgement of Paris was more of a reflection of how France had gotten lazy in their winemaking than showing much about US wines. The French got a much needed kick in the pants. Meanwhile US wines grew lazy — just going for high alcohol tannic monsters. That allowed many other regions (Australia, Chile, South Africa) to step in. US wines are improving again but slowly. It is wonderful to have so many tremendous wines to choose from at all price points these days.
We’ve got wild grapes that take a little prep but despite the seeds make the best merlot I’ve ever tasted. However most are consumed by ferral pigs before you can ever harvest them. Fermentation is an amazing scientific process

Anyone else’s here following a link from a class? Hope I answered the question right!
This is ridiculous. This is just a simple Grape Juice, with ferment… As simple as that. Not expensive. Not rare.
Artificial scarcity is the dumbest thing in the wine world. They could make so much more than they do each year, but then they couldn’t use FOMO to market their grape juice.
Who here is an alcoholic?
I went to a Jesuit College Preparatory School with Fred Franzia, long ago.
I’m 78 now, so this is an old video. I still make wine now, as I made when I lived on the Almaden Estate in the 1960’s.
wine made me fat especially my belly became like a. watermelon . No more wine for me. Also my kidney started to pain so I had to stop drinking wine immediately
Like… very much
This is what History channel should be. None of this aliens or oak island garbage.
It’s all about this narrator, he’s exceptional. It’s not “How It’s Made” w/out him.
