They did what they had to do to survive and stop the enemy and no one has the right to judge them if anything you respect them and honor them because they were there to do what they had to do for freedom and rights, and we need to respect these veterans by respecting the American flag and the America 🇺🇸 we take for granted and not let a certain party destroy it…
Shout out to Catonsville Maryland!!!!
This was a rare breed of men! Thanks to them we live our free lives without fear of a monster like hitler
All 3 of those brave men are purple 💜
didnt know they had m48 pattons in operation varsity
Killin Natzi’s is our business and cousin business is booming.
Funny we have to watch history Channel on youtube to actually get good content and not reality TV BS
It would have been great if they could have just called in the Air Force and drop a couple of J‑DAMs on the bunker. That would have saved the infantry from making an assault on a fortified bunker. Our military is built today around saving our soldiers lives from needless deaths. The sacrifice of those in WW2 and the wars since has not been in vain. It may cost a lot more American tax dollars to drop a guided bomb but the price of American lives saved is more than worth it.
lol lol lol lol… I got it right .. Two words a soldier never wants to hear… fix bayonets. It means we are almost out of bullets, about to charge and it’s getting close and personal.
Why do the troops, ours and theirs, always advance over open fields only to be slaughtered? what about a flanking maneuver and stay in the cover of the brush/forest????
Brutal revivified
Dmmme
Watching WW2 in color with my 11 year old son to explain the price of freedom. Most time people don’t realize how young these men were getting blown to pieces in combat. Thank God for their courage. Despite our failures I’m proud to be an American.
But Americans are still racist people
to the great men of WW2 we owe a debt we can never pay back. i don’t have the words
to express my admiration and thanks. but, thank you!
It should also be remembered that the Siegfried Line was not complete nor were the bits that were complete at full strength. Once the Atlantic Wall began construction, many of the materials destined for the Siegfried Line were redirected to the Atlantic Wall and many of the guns, materials (such as metal doors), and stores were relocated. When the Atlantic Wall was breached, the Germans were unable to relocate everything back where it had originally been. The Siegfried Line was little more than a paper tiger in reality, despite the fierce fighting that occurred there.
I hate to think this but our kids today couldn’t cut this mustered maybe a video game ?
80% of the German army was destroyed by the Russians.
Germans didn’t have a chance by Dec 44

Nothing but RESPECT to this entire generation. If for some reason you were turned down to fight, your part was done here on home soil. Those who fought and survived were forever scarred with hellish nightmares of what was witnessed.Wars should be fought by those who declare it and make big money, not by the peace loving people who have little desire and nothing to gain only to fatten the vaults of those hiding in the shadows.
Why they gotta be ‘NATZI SOLDIERS?’ I’m sure most weren’t members of the party, most were simply ‘soldiers’ just like you guys.
You can always tell they’re using reenactors. Because soldiers weren’t fat during WWII.
No one knows who did this yet you report it was Russia.…I see now you are not an impartial journalist.…and you have lost another viewer for your western bias, and false reporting when there is no proof of who did this.
Give the 30 caliber to the hustla he wants to be a hero
Twenty four men is a light platoon. Most companies have four or five platoons.…
Где найти на русском 🙏
Man I’m a little jealous of that FO. As an FO myself I bet having 108 guns fire at once was amazing to witness. The bravery of this generation is unmatched. Meanwhile I look at the new generations and I am very worried about our country.
I really like how some of the Commenters were the actual Soldiers! .. I wonder how they find these old-timers ??? .. 🤔🙄👍
70 million people died during ww2 that’s insane
Excellent. Well done. Take care
God bless the Allied forces!!!! ✝️🇺🇲
My grandfather!
sauerkrauts loved a good counterattack
I strongly dislike Dems
My great grandpa volunteered to jump with 17th during Varsity. His actual unit was the 101st Airborne.
My Father-in-Law was Bud Potratz’s NCO — SSG Mike Sharik (who is mentioned in this video). He and Bud became life-long friends, no doubt from being two of 16 men who actually survived the top of the hill. I spoke to a former captain who served in the 2d Ranger Bn, 75th Ranger regiment in Viet Nam, and he told me that when he was in Ranger school, they had a course specifically on Hill 400, which serves as a model of how Rangers were supposed to fight. Rangers lead the way! However, it’s too bad they lost their signature Black Berets — the result of an overly-zealous 2‑Star General’s staff … I got told that story by a good friend who was a paratrooper and trained with the Rangers for Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He said the Rangers were pretty ticked-off to lose their Black Berets … now they have Tan Berets — it just ain’t the same.
My great uncle was a vietnam vet
