His nostrils are unusually small and it disturbs me.
After hearing the bad bits it was enough to put me off. So, I didn’t complete the video or listen to the good bits. Another disappointing phone from Google
😑
I will never buy a google device again.
Have the Pixel 4. I’d say if you want compact phone with 90hz, great chipset and awesome camera this is like the only way to go. Love the face id and dont mind the forehead at all. Think it’s better than the notch. And oh boy these stereo Has to be one of the best on the market. Turned off motion sense, voice recorder and other not so useful features BUT i forced 90hz to be on all the time and it lasts me the whole day easly.

Every year I plan to buy the latest Google pixel device. I like the appearance, the clean software and the size of the smaller device (not XL), but they always manage to blow it with the battery. The 4a looked promising, it has a good battery life, but then again it is a budget device and it is neither waterproof nor does it have a good processor. 😓 The Pixel 5 is apparently the size of the Pixel 4a but with a bigger screen, hopefully it will get 7–8 hours of SOT. I am keeping my Xperia XZ1 Compact 😅 for now, skipping yet again another Pixel device.
I would have bought this phone had it not been for the awful battery life and lack of fingerprint sensor. It worked so well and they got rid of it.
Currently on S10 I can’t imagine swapping for this. Weird design with useless forehead, insufficient battery life, no SD, no jack, no wide angle. Too many nos!
I do think Pixel 4 is for those all rounders.

I got iPhone 11 with wide angle camera and.….…… it SUCKS.….… I mean — I do better “wide angle” photos with.….….. Panorama Photo Option — USELESS — 2x optical zoom — more useful.
I Had iPhone 8 — same — battery barely 1 day — so do not complain — if You need better battery life — buy XL phone and.…… bigger trousers pockets.
Hands down the worst phone I’ve ever had. One month after purchasing the loudspeaker went out. Going through the warranty process is such a pain. Roughly six months later the phone starts to over heat during use and while charging. At the same time the battery started to die within two hours of use. Really let down by this experience, I loved the pixel 2, best phone I ever had which is why I blind bought the pixel 4. Without a doubt I will never buy a Google phone again.

Pixel 3a last for two days for me just turn on battery saver and you done trust me if it works for pixel 3 a it will work for the 4
Am typing on a oneplus 8pro that I just got today, its beautiful top of the line specs, but I’ll keep my pixel 4, pixel is the best android phone, amazing camera, specially at night
No, I hate it!
6:19 “Brightness”??? My Pixel 4 looks just as bright as my Pixel (2016). My original Pixel wasn’t new, so the display may have been changed. However, neither are bright enough to make myself not avoid the sun for media consumption.
Btw, first time I tried motion sense to silence an incoming call, it actually worked. Using it to wake the phone doesn’t always work though, but maybe I need to “pause” my hand just before picking it up.
I don’t get why everyone keeps saying the battery is bad on the normal 4. Mine gets 5 hours screen time and it gets me through a day dead easy. The iPhone 6s and 7 and se and se2 all have smaller batteries than the pixel 4 and people are happy with that.
Unless you are glued to your phone all day and have no real life the battery on the pixel 4 is way more than enough
Just got mine for $300, and I love it
Lol me watching this on my pixel 4a like.…..
Pixel phones are not worth the money. They are manufactured by companies othwr than Google that do not have a vested interest in the long-term reliability of Pixel phones. I have had three Pixel phones in the past and am done with them. Always had problems. Never lasted longer than a year or year and a half.
Me in 2021 I still don’t use 4k video recording
De-Google it. Doubles the battery life.
Poor battery life was a deal breaker for me. Minimum 1 day of moderate use on a single charge. Who wouldnt want and expect that!? Thank you.
is a fantastic phone just went back to it and ditched samsung s20 ultra 5g way better phone.
Short answer is no
Business Opportunity in Ruvol
I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”
It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”
The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.
HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED and HOW YOU CAN MONETIZE IT?
I detailed everything in my YouTube video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcqth0m3-R0
BIG MONEY POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!
It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

Nobody needs an ultra wide camera…
Why does everyone say the screen is great?!
My Pixel 4a has a shimmery rainbow effect when I am viewing a white screen background at slight angle, my iPhone 6 and Nokia 1020 didn’t have this? Is this normal on Pixel 4a screen? And when move phone white changes to off white yellowish. It is making reading webpages uncomfortable’ I just brought it and wondering if I should return it? 🙁 And when I film you see black bands rolling up the screen.
The battery has improved, from this video. Better than my note 9 atm. Agreed it is the software updates that appeal to me more than the hardware. But this phone was stunning. Love the 2 tone of black and white. The trick is never to buy a pixel phone on release, wait a year. Then you will have a great phone, for reasons you stated in your well-balanced video.
I’m really wanting to buy a Pixel 4 XL but I’m concerned about app support for Google Face Unlock. I’ve gotten so spoiled to opening all my apps with the fingerprint; it would be a shame to lose that convenience and functionality. But from what I gather, most Android apps still don’t support Google’s Face Unlock (or any other Android manufacturer’s face id technology, for that matter). Most Android apps support fingerprint, but that’s it. So, on the Pixel 4, these apps would require password or PIN to open them.
Can any Pixel 4 owners weigh in on this? Is Face Unlock good for anything besides opening the phone?
