So very cool to see the first pri­vate indus­try space­craft manned mis­sion. Best wish­es to NASA’s Doug and Bob and the mis­sion sup­port orga­ni­za­tion. I lis­tened to Sput­nik on my ham radio receiv­er. I watched the first Mer­cury launch, the Gem­i­ni and Apol­lo mis­sions, and all the shut­tle mis­sions. I think all of us of my age and who are space fans may believe we were born too soon.

I am 53 love sci­ence fic­tion and any­thing to do with space. I have vis­it­ed an obser­va­to­ry more than once and I used to know the names of the stars in the var­i­ous con­stel­la­tions. Even read up on Norse mythol­o­gy as well as all those sto­ries. This is a great achieve­ment that I am sor­ry to see Amer­i­ca attain while a black man can be killed on the street in full view of fel­low amer­i­cans and the police force he was employed with thought that fir­ing him was all that was need­ed. They knew full well that if the out­cry went away he would be hired by anoth­er force eas­i­ly no ques­tions asked. George Floyd should have been able to see this. Shame on America.
