Is this people targeted to people in Cuba or Venezuela? Oh wait…
I think google photos is a must
u need to be able to access evidence after u lose ur phone, your phone is broken, ur phone has been confiscated etc
Hi guys!
Here are some things to keep in mind if you’re headed to a protest. Do you have other tips?
Stay safe, everyone!
Good information but it will help more to looters than peace full protesters.
You gonna say the best things to look for when looting a store next?
This video was ridiculous.
Don’t watch this video on your phone with disliking it
Make sure you get google photos it’s free caped photo and video storage never turn on low power mode (that will stop the background update process and never swipe up on google photos and keep google photos running in the background at All times ruined or in a place you cannot get your phone (for example your phone gets impounded by the police) if your phone is being taken from you and you have a iPhone 8 or newer. Press and hold the power and any volume button until the slider pops up and cancel. If you have a iPhone 7 or older press the power button until the slider pops up and click cancel. This stops Touch ID and Face ID until you unlock your phone again so the cops can’t use your finger or hold your phone up to your face and unlock it.
2:48 You can slo turn on the 5 press method on iPhone 8 and newer.
protest you mean Looting why are you promoting such if your doing no wrong why do the above steps unless your a criminal and not a law Abiding Citizen ???? peacefully protesting
And if you do, just steal a new one!
“A lot of us…” Claire, have you gone to a protest?
Thumbnail case?
Wow CNET. Now you’re helping people so they can’t be identified when they can go out and commit crimes?? If you’re just “Protesting” why would you need to hide your identity? Seriously CNET, WTF happened to you guys?
So you don’t give a damn about the people getting beat up on the street, being shot, and hundreds of stores being looted, and neighborhoods that are never going to recover from this?? But make sure to Like and Subscribe Guys 😉 Unbelievable.
This video is sooo late though.
I have a better idea, how about getting rid of a government that wants to take away your right to protest. Get out and vote, but do your homework first.
Its just sad that people how to make these video on how to stay safe at a protest. That we have a right to do.
CNET is a subsidiary of CBS corporation.
Great 👍🏾 Now people that just wanna do wrong have all the info to avoid the law. How stupid we gotten 😒
Who tf is tracking you? There are hundreds of other people
Am I the only one who legitimately doesn’t understand this video. Like I know what’s going on is bad, but what does she expect will happen when you are out? Also it’s been shown that passwords are way less secure than biometrics soo…
A friendly and careful message from your local Communist network on how to Overthrow your Republic and hand over your free country to a bunch of private bankers.…. Be a useful idiot … terrorize local businesses… maybe you can get some looting in and steal some stuff and we’ll just call you a freedom fighter.…. Useful idiots please apply at your local ANTIFA chapter
You’re not a rubble if your political beliefs are echoed by the largest corporations on the planet that run all the networks.… You’re not a freedom fighter you are useful idiot
Not sure why the video is getting hate? I mean everything the host’s said is factual, reasonable and provided in a straightforward manner?
emergency services will only come when called if they have not been de-funded or disbanded, fyi
Good tips
This is a load of Bollox.
I like that idea thank you

Never listen to a white women.
Shes right about not taking phone.
Use a old camera
Old cameras with NO WIFI .
They still have memory cards
So mainstream are pushing protests even tho they dont have a righteous bone.🤔🤔
Lol even cnet have to protect people from the police. This can tell u something wrong here
CNET you should be ashamed of yourself. Stop being political and report on tech. You must be losing subscribers by the truckload. So close to unsubscribing. What a waste of what was a good channel.
Great video !!!
Wouldn’t it be better to just not commit crimes and you have nothing to hide?
Is this part 1 of a new series ‘How to break the law and get away with it’ by CNET?
how to evade criminal govt 101
You missed two important ones…
Android 10 has lockdown mode. It’s available in the power menu. It disabled biometrics until next reboot.
If you have forgotten to disable biometrics, and you’re about to be arrested, do everything you can to force that phone off! Androids, and I believe iPhones, require a password after a power off no matter what biometrics you have enabled.
Who else is surprised to get tech help from Rebel Rousing Reilly? Go, Claire, go!
Thank you, CNET! History will remember you as being on the right side.
Encouraging a protest for a criminal… thank u CNET for making the situation in our country even worse!!!
If you think you’re going to be targeted, you’re probably going to be committing a crime. CNet knows this, they’re trying to help people get away with crime.
Oh C‑Net I will remember the good times we had, but now I must unsubscribe
Came for refrigerator review and learned how to hide my digital signature to join the revolution. A little shocked by CNET and disappointed. Stay neutral!!!
