I come from the Wallace — Maxwell union. Is this the same family? I will poo myself if it is!!!
Couldn’t even get the braveheart nickname right that was given to Robert Bruce.
The Cull.
Wasn’t Braveheart a poem by Sir Walter Scott about Robert the Bruce and James Douglas?
Tyler Cobb is my son’s name 😂
Being the history Channel, you’d think you’d use the man’s name and stop calling him Braveheart. William Wallace
Braveheart is actually Robert de Brus not William Wallace
Obviously not the intention of the video’s upload to youtube, but these are so good to have on to fall asleep. It hits this balance of interesting, but not too attention grabbing that I stay up. The sound design isn’t overly dynamic, so the roughly constant sound levels don’t jolt me up. Love the information too, so in the day time I’ve watched them from the time they were on TV.
William Wallace was never known as brave heart 🤦🤦🤦🤦 Robert the Bruce got that name after his death
Back when statements like “350 million years” was believed, now we know the earth is flat and young.
John Robert Bruffett Junior USA American 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏴🇮🇱🇬🇷🇮🇪🇺🇸🏁🏔️🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸 thanks
A genealogist working with me on my family tree linked us back to a great etc etc grandmother by the name of Elizabeth Marion, the supposed daughter of William and Marion.
Weird there’s no mention of his claymore as it had become an iconic weapon in media and gaming.
The Wallace family still exists 😊
John Knox
Look in the antichrist babylon roman empire hierarchy catholic system cellar’s cellar for the documents of Wallace ; told ya ! Original KJV Revelation 13:&17:&18(*13:18)(**18:4,5)
Wouldn’t the church, having the main power have special privileges and materials brought to them with out outside villages having any knowledge about it.
Amazing how a Scotsman is tried for Treason to England.
? (This Narrative is either inaccurate or not clear on subject of reference), as it was the 1200’s and they referenced it as 500, and 700 years ago. It was 1000 years ago.
Dear History channel! Just FYI in the movie by Mel Gibson, William was highly educated who spoke several languages, it also made clear that he traveled throughout the world! Clearly even to this day only rich people can do that!
This helps me sleep unbelievably well
William Wallace’s favorite techno song.
Who betrays him ?
You expect me to believe that the History Channel showed programs about history?!?
So even Scotland betrayed him. Bruce turned his forces over to England, and Wallace was defeated.
Wait… my ancestor was Braveheart aka Robert the Bruce…
Stupid Mel Gibson movie was so historical wrong.
Did Scotland run out of trees to cut down during 1297?
This documentary loses A LOT of credibility with it’s mentioning of Marion Braidfute. There is no actual historical evidence that she ever existed or that Wallace was even married at all. Marion Braidfute only appears in a poem written by Blind Harry nearly 200 years after Wallace’s death. The majority of historians reject the claim that Wallace was married, as there is ZERO evidence of it.
Also, as many others have already said: It was Robert the Bruce that took the title of “Braveheart”, not Wallace. This documentary follows Hollywood narrative. Not actual history. Two thumbs down.
I am related to him
