Hitch rugged phones work in us?every rugged phone I buy won’t work ..is the unihertz a us phone? Is it 4 g?
You’ve nailed it. What a excellent video to be honest.
Do any of the rugged phones support wireless charge?
I hate slim phones.
Rugged phones are bad for value, unless you have a real specific and niche job that you need the extra durability it’s not worth it,plus the screens durability is still the same, just get a regular phone and get a rugged case and a screen protector.
Aron from mrwhosetheboss said it best.
As a civil engineer — I use a Samsung S21 as my daily driver, and a CAT S62 when I have to go to a construction site. It works fine for those rare occasions, but I gotta say I’m always eager to switch back to my trusty old Samsung as soon as I’m outta there.
They use the Samsung X cover pro as work phones at my job
This review is probably the best phone review of technology I’ve ever seen. Very dense information provided, thank you.
You got the sonic xp8 i have that phone
Great job. Thank you.
2020 you cant ignore rugged phones anymore
2022 you can’t buy rugged phones anymore
Samsung X cover Pro
I am very unhappy with Umidigi. Though the Umidigi Bison x10 boasts incredible specs for a decent price, it was the macro 5 mp features that ultimately swayed me to choose the Umidigi Bison x10. But sadly this feature has been a huge disappointment. I bought a Umidigi Bison X10 5 months ago because of all the good reviews. By now we know 5‑star reviews are mostly paid for or fabricated. Besides the X10 disappointing camera features, I also experience problems with the sound and most recently the failure of the fingerprint sensor unit. When I researched online, I discovered that this is a common occurrence. The warranty is also a big turn-off. Clearly, there is a problem with BISON X10 and they should recall the whole series. The failure of sensors and other parts on new phones is ridiculous. It is better to have a less rigid phone and drop it than to have a rigid phone that can not function under normal use. Though Umidigi offers a ONE-year warranty they settle with the warranty offered by their resellers instead. Talk about getting knocked off by Umidigi and friends. On the scale of rip-offs, this is a huge 10X fail.
How do these phones fair with oukitel, ulefone, blackview phones as far as water depth, debris and higher or hard drops ?
🎉 EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT DETAILED REPORTS AND DELIVERY OF THE REPORT FACT EXCELLENT 👍🏻
Very Informative. Thank You for taking the time to make this video.
Nice
Both my kids have Sonin XP8s. The XP8 is pretty heavy. My son could use a less rugged phone but ny daughter definitely needs it. The Sonin XP8 is probably dropped from a height of 4ft daily and it just keeps trucking. They do get made fun of a little bit at school because of the phone’s size. The replaceable bettery is really nice. My son’s phone battery started to pillow and was so easy to switch it out. The size of the battery is really nice for them too!
I think their next phone will be the Samsung XCover Pro.
so what’s the diff between swapable batteries vs. heavy 2–3 day batteries ?
My husband had a Kyocera Duraforce pro. Not worth the money. It’s constantly running hot and freezing up. He bought an iPhone 14 pro max, bought a waterproof case and he loves it. He has dropped it in the toilet. He ran over it with a forklift in soft dirt. Still working. He loves it! He says it’s worth buying a indestructible case. He said it’s the best phone he’s ever owned
I disagree on the port cover opinion. Ports, at least from Kyocera, have internal seals. The inclusion of the port cover keeps the port safer from debris.
Anyone who has used a game cartridge knows that you want to keep ports clear.
