Love how buddy tests the blade by cutting things in the direction of his children, and then full sends that piece of PVC
Coé vei kkkkk voou o negócio nas meninas
Gonna say this now, the part explaining the history is historically inaccurate. A swordbreaker wasn’t commonplace, and it was just a variant of the Parrying Dagger, which was used alongside the civilian sword, the Rapier. To my knowledge, there are no historical examples of a swordbreaker being used in battle, and a swordbreaker could never break a sword. It would also never be a sidearm because it was a dagger, not a sword. The sword is a medieval/renaissance era sidearm, not a dagger.
Sao hollow fragment
Why pvc for a quench tank? Your making a large dagger not a metal toothpick
They really pulled out SAO
they picked sword art online for a game with it in? i love the series of games but…not the most popular…
Was NOT expecting an SAO mention in this show…! XD
The mutual respect of these contestants was highly impressive. Top men.
Genius. Using pvc for a quench tank.
Good job dude…
Both of them were so cool, they both deserved to win
I love it when the most spastic man wins. Lol
Yeah probably shouldn’t swing a blade in the direction of your kids just my opinion though.
Ok
First time I see an episode where they are actually Neck to neck
This is every guys dream job, to swing swords at stuff and get paid for it
I’m more familiar to seeing the Swordbreaker on Soul Calibur as either Sophitia or Cassandra’s alternate weapon.
Did anybody else get nervous when they showed the guys tortoise as he said he was getting ready to do some testing?
A quench tank it’s just a f**** PVC pipe with a cap on the bottom Inglot at Lowe’s or Home Depot for like a dollar fifty these people always act like they can’t go to the hardware store or someplace to get wood if they run out of handle material it’s ridiculous
4:30 poor turtle
4:29 NOOOO POOR GEO :(((
Interesting, I didn’t know that ring would be for protection. I thought it was for hanging up or something lol
The swordbreaker is immortalized by a video game that will be played by a very small portion of the population for a few years at best.… It sounds better if you are wearing your state mandated face diaper.
Sword art online eh
LMFAO SAO WHAT A GOOD SOURCE
Amateur quenching without gloves. Do it right the first time, so you don’t have to waste time fixing your mistakes.
Kid 1: my dads a forged in fire champion!
Kid 2: a what?
Wasn’t this sword super rare ? They make it sound like every second knight had it.
It’s also good as a regular parrying dagger, being even capable of stopping an axe! My OC has a pair of these, one for the right hand and the other for the left. Having two is also good for a nice strong dual cross block, as you can insert the edge of one dagger into the teeth on the other and draw the sword into the middle
Ummm sword breaker was mostly used to entrap the sword and disarm the opponent not really break it.
They finna start doing guns soon
Crazy how they could make these bakc then without modern tools
The rookslayer sword!
so much voiceline cutting, barely going a full sentence
did he really just attempted to quench that blade in plastic tube, holding it with bare hand :D:D:D ?
Todays weapon is the iconic weapon nobody’s ever heard of
That poor turtle…
I really love the variety of weapon this show is letting the competitors make. Just amazing 👌
How could they point out the ring is on the wrong side when they never said “well this weapon was used in the left hand” to begin with
I’m left handed so I actually would love James’s sword breaker, would be unconventional to how it’s usually held, but nobody ever said it couldn’t be wielded in another hand!
I would say it’s more remembered in Geek culture from the anime Demon Slayer as the ultimate hog himself uses it daily
I love this competition program, the mutual respect from all the contestants and judges is incredible and the art of forging is amazing. Respect to all the contestants and judges you all super amazing. Instead of airing bs like ufo hunters and unproved nonsense like bigfoot sightings and pyramids in the snow, stick to this type of content, pawn stars, storage wars, restoration programs and real history, more people will enjoy the History channel
1 pp
sometimes i wonder if the show explains the weapon and it’s function or if they just send smiths home with a wikipedia link they may or may not read.
example; contestant not even knowing how his blade is meant to be held
4:12 I like how dude was grinding that blade sending all that debris at his face while not wearing any eye protection
Erich is my dad he is so happy how many views this video has😂
What is the name of the program?
It snap
It entrap
But most importantly
Brings 10k bac
