When I buy something I want the physical something, not some cloud based digital crap
Wich one is better x or s
Pls anyone tell my wich one is better
I’m still using a Xbox one and I’m grateful for it. The only bad things bout it is it glitches and like doesn’t let me play certain games because I have a non next gen console but that’s basically it so it’s still pretty nice for gaming.
Beatiful machine. Not expensive
As someone who has a Series S, graphics are pretty good, but unless you’re a one game kind of person, just go for the X. You’ll be out of storage immediately on the S, and to upgrade to a larger expansion drive means you’ve basically paid the same as for an X for worse graphics and no disk drive 😢
But what if you do not do ANY online play?
You’re flat wrong about optical drives. Having physical games means that you can resell them when you’re done.
Thank you
I see people talking about re-selling games. Sound nice, but you can’t even recoup a fraction of what the game cost.
The Xbox series X and S can run 120hz idk why he’s saying it can’t
Who cares how efficient the xbox s is because it doesnt use discs. I like being able to have physical copies of my games.
We got the kid a ps5 because he deserves it but I got myself a s bundle new for 240 and it’s fantastic for the price, I understand if you have a crazy TV but again the kid has a 4k I have a brand new 720 i got for 100 bucks at target and I’m satisfied. As long as the wife and son are good I’m 👍
You say it’s not that world anymore but physical media is what many of us want esp considering they can just take it away from you digitally even after you paid for it
We are still living “in that world” with physical media.
I expect to own a physical artifact of my property where it is at all possible. Where no physical media is even possible, I evaluate my future risk accordingly.
I typically refuse to be dependent upon an external party to maintain support for my property in order for my property to work.
Yes, mate. We may be past the optical drive era but we all own thousands of dollars of disks.
It would be nice to be able to play them occasionally in our current Xbox without re purchasing them online.
This probably isn’t an issue for you given your contacts, access to prereleases , free games and your 3.7 million subscriber driven wealth but for the rest of us, its a big deal.
Honestly, the fact that you seem to be so out of touch with your demographics just stopped me subbing.
Says: “We’re no longer living in the era of optical drives!”
Sits in front of a bookshelf full of books and vinyl…
This CNET moron trying to convince people that optical drives are some nonsense addon, yea who needs physical media? …you only get to keep OWNERSHIP of your BOUGHT AND PAID FOR games genius…
The only reason I’m buying an Xbox series S if because I have work to get the money and my Xbox one after having it for eight years it’s starting to get old and none of the new games are having accommodations for it so
you talk too much, just get to the point
I rather live in a pixelated world than a 4k brain orgasmic exhaustion kind.
I got mine for 269.99 some gilded hunter one was the same thing as the other one with those games but more expensive so I got it for the price don’t really have a 4k tv and most my games are digital so I got the s
I chose Xbox Series X over PS5 for a reason. It is because I wanted to play forza motorsport, and it’s more powerful than the ps5.
I like how he says we are past this era of “optical drive”
What he is not telling you when you don’t own a “physical” copy of the game you paid your hard earned money for, you are trusting that the clouds that these games are saved on will always be there for you to access.
Google paramount and what they did to people who bought movies digitally. Paramount quietly told people some movies would not be accessible anymore due to cloud storage.
Hmmmm Mr. We are past this era of optical drives. If I pay the prices of these video games of today, I want access as long as well.… As long as I wasn’t access. Beware digital buyers when Xbox and PS tell you your game is not accessible 10 years from now because of storage issues, You won’t event think about the money you spent for sometime you really didn’t own.
With that being said. Games should not be as expensive as they are since if you buy it digitally you never know when they will pull the plug and they will. Keeping these games accessible in the cloud to download ain’t free, hence why paramount did what they did to digital movies and what will surely happen to video games bought digitally in the future.
Side note what games are you downloading where it fills up a 1Tb drive with 4–5 games?
Does Xbox series s do 60 frames per second I’m new to Xbox and I’m only getting it for halo so I’m curious to know if I play halo infinite will it be 60 frames per second?
I bought a Series S with 1T in Germany last Summer. Love it. It’s small easy to travel with.
I still buy everything optical if I can, I want to be able to buy second hand games and resell my games. The cheapest way to game
All this guy did was say “200 dollar difference” and “different storage” this was the upmost useless video
