Iranian best sword(( zumorud))
In my country (iran or persia) shamshir means the sword and we don’t use the word as a kind of sword
Safavid🫀
History channel ( when you want to butcher history seek them out )
Also that old dude has to do hammering manually by hand
Dude, impressive. Did you see those warriors from Hammerfell? They have curved swords…CURVED SWORDS!
Copy
Tim 🙁
Curved like lions
uv
The Iranian sword is not like this, it is actually an Arabic sword that Iranians used, this sword entered Iran when Islam entered Iran, in fact, the Iranian sword is a smooth and slightly wide sword with a short handle.
Shamshir means sword in persian language
Persians are not Arabs, please don’t use Arabs’ pictures instead of Iranians’ pictures
Shamshir mean sword lol sword sword
Shamshir is a Persian word for “Sword” and we use it to refer to any kind of sword. But it’s actually a two part word with “Sham” meaning “Nail” or “Claw” and “Shir” meaning “Lion”.
In fact the word “Shamshir” is the Farsi(Persian) translation of sword.
Thanks for your great video 👍🏻🇮🇷
Shamshir》gold Lion🦁
Iran empire
Sharpness : No notable difference.
Kill : Pretty much equality.
Strength : One blade toke a slight bend.
One blade is lighter, the other have a nice, bold, Damascus pattern. Decision : Fit & finish and less damage won.
Did you know that right at 9:07, a big piece of the skull bone hit Dave’s forehead? Imao
Old fellas laugh is the best 😂
Tim’s laugh is highly infectious 😂 I want to buy this guy a beer!
“Shamshir, which means curved like a tiger’s tail …”
Where do people get this overdramatic nonsense?? Shamshir is just the Persian word for “sword”.
This is Turkish sword
It’s not called Shamshir, and Shamshir isn’t a Persian sword. It belongs to a region closer to the Far Eastern side of Central Asia and is of Turkic origin. Don’t make a nonsense video
Originally arab sword 👍🏻
I think Tim should have won, his sword was more accurate. I would think accuracy is the point, not just surviving the tests, if surviving the tests is the point then making a too heavy too thick sword will win every time.
Shamshir is an Indian sword not Persian sword
