Most people in Las Vegas bet with chips, but Danny “The Count” Koker bets with cars. This Sin City legend walks, talks and breathes cars and bikes. When he sees a car he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get his hands on it—including making on-the-spot cash offers to unsuspecting owners. On the HISTORY series Counting Cars, Danny and his team restore, customize and sell cars in a hurry, scrambling to keep their Las Vegas shop in the black. From classics to exotics, from hotrods to choppers, Danny and the crew of Count’s Kustoms will stop at nothing to find and flip the greatest rides of all time.

That rear gangster window is worth big bucks
This was a great episode, i loved it ..
I wish they kept the chrome around the rear window.
Where are the cartoon flames you guys usually do ? Lol
Nice looking original car, except the lousy interior seats, colour and steering wheel must go.
Loved how she turned out good job guys proud of you
Well, after 80 years plus, we all would have some cracks, sags, and wrinkles.
The line still not proper straight!
Danny’s cars just don’t look good to me. They always make me a bit nauseated. The problem is he does bad work on the paint, wheels, bodywork and interior. Otherwise I guess he does ok on the other parts
It amuses me to read comments that start off with: “I wish that he/they” or “They should have/could have” or “He/They ruined the car.” Folks when are you gonna learn that Counting Cars is a concept reality show. Yes the shop actually exists, Danny and his crew actually exist and they actually do what they do and get richer doing it. Yet the point is all a matter of perspective and the type and style of work that is specific to that shop. There are hundreds of custom and restoration shops all over North America, but only a few get a television series. There are only two kinds of customers. Ones who want absolute original restoration OR ones who want modifications. Now which do think costs more to do? If you say with all of high end automotive technology and upgrades, the sky is the limit. Now that may be true, but it is not logical, practical, reasonable or of common sense, but some people have nothing better to do than spend money. The reality is that it is more expensive and time consuming to fully restore a vehicle to its original showroom condition. Almost every thing has to be rebuilt without fiberglass or bondo. That means cutting and reshaping metal, often straightening the frame and the worst part the car they are starting with has been attempted a restoration by an amateur ‘Do-it-yourself’ who gave up. Finding original parts is time consuming and labor intensive, not to mention making them look brand new once again. Restorations almost never come close to estimate and never below. Doing that kind of work requires an open contract with lots of leeway. Of course no show is going to release episodes where a customer freaks out and wants their money back plus their car put back to the condition it came in. There are protection clauses in the contract to prevent that anyway. They are under the umbrella of Caveat Emptor, otherwise, “Let the buyer beware”. Point being, what you couch critics think are of no consequence, it’s not your show. If it was your show. Would you really be concerned with what other felt you should have done after the fact? Of course not. It’s not like you would call up a customer and tell them they read a comment on YouTube and ‘wished’ or ‘should’ or ‘could’ have done something different and/or better? If you believe that, then I recommend you make an appointment with a mental health professional to help resolve your delusional issues. (Note: This comment was issued with a modicum of satire, sarcasm and dry wit).
Wouldn’t trust these guys in my life, I warn my children about people like this. Mediocre work, cheap products, heck nah
Count I love your program man you guys do amazing work are you going to come up with a new program this year doing new work in 2021 I hope so.👍🏾💙💪🏾💯
Covered the snaps on the side, but added snaps across the rear of the conv. top?
I think artillery wheels would have made it, gorgeous nonetheless…
Wow, I can’t believe the door handle is nearly falling off after only 90 years!
I don’t see any difference tho
Thank you History Channel.
I “love” Danny. That is why I started watching his program. He is a gentleman, have not heard is language slip.
It looks great because they didn’t do much to it
Word that stuff is great but I can’t believe you’re a trump fans look where it got you
I wish this was closer to the original with white walls and all.
Cool
It’s a very beautiful car👍
That is a nice car which sows class and luxury without it screaming it, also unusual to see a street rod Packard. Remember seeing that sell at Barrett Jackson, not in person but was sold there when looking this car up.
No green flames and tribal bandanas wooooah
What a gorgeous car…
Cancel this please.
Personally I thought the baby moons looked good on her the wire wheels bring her back to stock look that’s cool also but I would prefer stock interior my thoughts beautiful ride tho
It is so PLEASING to see the correct wheels, hubs, and tires on this beautiful automobile. They did such a Fabulous job, actually in the 1930’s Automotive Body Design, no other Decade Compares.
The 1938 Buick Century, Bugatti every year of the 30’s, there were vehicles that just remain the Best in Automotive Body Design”!
To redesign one is sinful, ought to be a law, I mean “Do Not Ever” jack with PERFECTION!
They were Design Geniuses, Artists, its like “repainting a Picasso or Rembrandt”, … No Really!
Very nicely “adjusted”. 🏆
The Picasso of cars …this is a really nice Packard …
Much better!!!
Excellent! Bonnie and Clyde ride again!
I like the wheels on it. I haven’t seen what they do yet. And maybe a more luxurious wheel would suit the Packard.
👏👏👏👍
👊🔥😎🔥👊
Looks so much better. The wheels changed the car completely
Perfect changes to improve the car. I would have lowered. The rear slightly in addition for that slight ‘nose in the air’ look but the customer didn’t ask for that I understand.
Danny said that it was a 1940 Packard…not a 1930.. somebody got the title of the clip wrong.. still a sweet car though..😎
Cars back then were so cool.
I’m guessing you never saw many of the “counting cars” cause per Danny , the owner of Count’s customs always specialized in finding out exactly what a customer wanted and then they would give them what they wanted and more and in all the seasons I watched the show I was almost always as amazed as the customer was with what Danny and his crew were able to accomplish with the info that they got from the customer and if you’re not a completely jaded fan of the old history Channel and A&E car shows hopefully you’ll see enough videos on YouTube to give you a new appreciation of the restorations and customs Danny and his “Count’s ” customs put out , cause to me, they always went up to what was ordered and at least a couple of steps above what even could have been imagined before the final product was revealed 😊😅😮😂❤😂😊❤😊
Not knocking your craftsmanship, but this is not a 1940, let alone a 1930, or any other Packard. It’s a Frankencar. Modern V‑8, automatic transmission, tilt wheel, wrong interior, wrong wheels wearing a bottom-run ’40 Packard One-Ten (six-cylinder) body. What’s this nonsense about “gangster rear window?” What does “gangster” have to do with it? Have you done any unbutchered cars?
Stunning. Class. I’ll take this over any ott supped up custom hot rod muscle car any day.
