We tested nine different projectors to find the best one suited for most situations. There are a lot of choices when it comes to projectors. Laser or lamp-based? DLP or LCD? 1080 or 4K? However, the most important things are: how easy it is to set up, audio, image quality, and price. In this video, Alix Diaconis shows us the best projectors of 2020.

CORRECTIONS:
1. I was wrong about the VAVA Laser TV being a laser projector. It has a laser light source, but it uses a DLP chip, so it is technically a DLP projector. It doesn’t change anything else I said about it though — just wanted you to know.
2. 02:07 – LCD projectors do not actually have a color wheel.
Thanks to Johnny for pointing this out. Hope you find the projector you’re looking for! – Alix

Hi! Thanks for watching the video! Two quick notes:
1. I was wrong about the VAVA Laser TV being a laser projector. It has a laser light source, but it uses a DLP chip, so it is technically a DLP projector. It doesn’t change anything else I said about it though — just wanted you to know.
2. 02:07 – LCD projectors do not actually have a color wheel.

i wanna see a throw down wemax vs chroma vs optoma vs ommc vs bomaker laser ust
Why she sound like that?
what do You think about the Xiaomi Mi Smart 2 Pro or the non pro version?
How about under $100 projectors?
Not knowing what ANSI lumens are and not having a simple light meter in a projector review… sigh
Hey! There are 5 types of cars! SUVs, Sedans, Minivans, Electric, and Diesel. WAIT: Electric and Diesel are engine types?
There are FOUR primary types of projectors and three types of light engines. Your “LASER” projector is a DLP projector with a laser light engine.
The four types of projectors are:
DLP (BenQ, Optoma, AAXA, XGimi, Vava, and a ton more)
3 LCD (Epson)
LCoS (JVC, Sony)
Single LCD (Long list of junk prjoectors)
There was SO much wrong with this video it is really quite silly.
People should read reviews from trusted websites, and this one clearly isn’t it.
Nice video
i was hoping to get the scoop on what to search for in the $300 range :/
So this is very outdated and discontinued but I personally think it would be interesting if you did: Casio XJ-M130(or something similar: XJ-A130, XJ-M140, XJ-A140) vs BenQ HT2550. I think it would be nice to see the difference in technology over time! A Panasonic PT-LB330 would also work as a good comparison. This might be hard for you to do but thanks for considering! Amazing video too!
This video is good
Nice but you didn’t review the Benq or Epson 4k projectors?
How long does the bulb last on the Epson 2150 and is it replaceable ?
Vidio projeckter 11 fast
Great video but.…… Did she just say you wont need external speakers??? I’m out
There’s a sneaky big problem withe the Epson (and all LCD projectors), and that is that when you replace the bulb, you’ll never get the same brightness again. I’ve heard that from pros who service these things, and they always explain to me how that can be, and I never understand it — but enough people have said it that I have no reason to disbelieve them.
I want a projector plz give me😭😭. EPSON is my dream
Without Dolby Atmos sound in your hall/room a projector seems like a pizza without any toppings
You should also look at replacement bulb/lamp costs when determining what projector is best for you. Some are $400 while others cost around $150 or less. They will need to be replaced.
XGIMI Aura has 5 image modes, crystal-clear 4k picture and bright 2400 ANSI lumens. This ultra short throw laser projector provides an immersive cinematic experience.
Thank you for creating this video, I really enjoyed your perspective and content.
When people talk about the life of the laser compared to that of a bulb they should mention it once the laser burns out you can’t replace it where you can replace a bulb.
GOOD JOB

So 75 in tv is “dinky” but an 80″ projection is big?
My god. These are so expensive. I’m not sure if it’s worth it…
Best end
I’m actually researching this for myself as we speak.Been scoping out all of the projector reviews and I have a checklist of things I want to make sure the projector I’m looking for has.
