That nam­ing scheme.. It’s even worse than Apple’s.
“Xpe­ria 1 2” comes out ⨠ a few months pass ⨠ a cheap­er (but bet­ter in SOME ways) “Xpe­ria 5 2” comes out with a dif­fer­ent aes­thet­ic.
So they want to get rid of their unique “boxy” style, and pro­vide a cheap­er phone that’s kin­da bet­ter than their flag­ship to make their biggest fans feel like they’re miss­ing out hav­ing bought the Xpe­ria 1 a few months back.. What a bunch of idiots, seri­ous­ly. Maybe even worse than LG.

A large amount of USA cus­tomers fall under the T‑Mobile umbrel­la. So one of the most impor­tant aspects of the phone, nobody seems to be talk­ing about in any of the reviews. Will it come with the soft­ware and autho­riza­tion for VoLTE and VoW­ifi on T‑Mobile?

I think this is not fair for Xpe­ria 1 ll user becase line prod­uct Xpe­ria 1 ll is main flag­ship and head­er but don’t have screen high refresh rate 90Hz or 120Hz why Xpe­ria 5 ll is minor flag­ship have it . Not fair .

Very good review, short and to the point. This could well be my next phone. From expe­ri­ence with my LG phones I pre­fer the head­phone sock­et on the bot­tom but I guess can’t have every­thing. This looks like a great “small­er” phone.

Those small bezel helped alot while gam­ing, my hand fre­quent­ly acci­den­tal­ly touched the screen with play pubg and ML while using bezel­less screen smartphone…

The pre­sen­ters of this chan­nel have a huge lack of charis­ma. They make up for it with very com­pre­hen­sive analyzes.

looks great.…… no one will buy one. the aver­age phone shop­per does­nt even know sony phones exist.

Got the phone and I total­ly love it 😀😁 the screen OLED, cam­era, 120Hz but most of all com­ing from HTC I was huge­ly scep­ti­cal about the audio. I should not have feared
Its absolute­ly awe­some crazy loud crisp and clear blows my HTC clean out of the water 😉😊😇

I wish sony make the back cov­er with alu­mini­um or mat­te fin­ish due to mir­ror­ing glass is suck, dirty and fin­ger­print fur­ther­more after one or 2 year your find many scratch­es on it with­out extra cov­er, trust me not all con­sumers work on a desk with always clean hand
