Northrop Grumman Cargo Launch to the Space Station from NASA Wallops
[vid_tags]
Tune in to watch live as Northrop Grumman launches its Antares rocket and Cygnus spacecraft on a resupply mission to the International Space Station. Liftoff is now targeted for 9:16 p.m. EDT from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. A previous launch attempt on Oct. 1 was scrubbed. Payloads on board Cygnus include research to help identify targeted cancer therapies, a new space toilet, a crop of radishes that will grow in the station’s advanced plant habitat, a virtual reality camera that will capture a future spacewalk, and more.

SpaceX launches feel much more exciting and informative because they include the viewers.
When will we be colonizing the moon? It only costs 9 billion dollars!
I wonder if we could ever bring back the Orion project.

Was able to watch launch from almost 200 miles away in N.J. First live launch I’ve ever seen. Been a space nerd since the 60’s.🙂
And then the first stage was deliberately crashed into the sea.
I live on the eastern shore of md approx 2 hrs northwest of wallops i can just step out in my backyard with binoculars and get a pretty good view…its awesome we watch most of them
Where’s the short follow-up capture video?

I live in Va. and just found out about Wallops a few months ago. I can’t wait to see a launch in person
Congratulations! This is your 5,000 Youtube video.
What a technology!!!!
I am glad that the joint work of Ukraine and the United States is so successful !!! after a series of catastrophes of Antares with Russian engines, the United States and Russia broke off cooperation. Since 2015, the first stage has been assembled in Ukraine and during this time there has not been a single disaster !!!

These guys used a liquid fueled rocket for no good reason. A solid fuel rocket is seventy five percent cheaper. In a few years, these con-men will be lucky if they get enough funding to launch a bottle rocket.
