One gold col­ored but­ton is not a trea­sure but it is near the mon­ey pit and what is it doing there? I think Gary pulled it out of his shirt pock­et and dropped it in the mud then pre­tends he just found it.

The Oak Island trea­sure is a clas­sic case of “too fine an eye for pat­tern finds it every­where. There was NEVER any trea­sure on Oak Island. Sup­pos­ed­ly kids found an old wood­en block (pul­ley) hang­ing from a tree branch near the beach, Their minds ran wild imag­in­ing there was trea­sure beneath it. They dug down as far as they could and found noth­ing. Oth­er peo­ple dug fur­ther, through the cen­turies of dead trees and ocean flot­sam and claimed they saw a pat­tern to the lay­ers. Ridicu­lous. Obvi­ous­ly the only peo­ple who would­n’t keep their “trea­sure” in a bank are crim­i­nals. You know … like pirates. So why are pirates/criminals … “pirates?” Because they’re too lazy to work. It’s eas­i­er to just steal some­one else’s “work.” So with that in mind, you think these pirates, who steal for a liv­ing because it’s eas­i­er, are going to dig a shaft a hun­dred feet deep to hide a trea­sure in a time when it had to be dug by hand? A pit so deep that mod­ern tech­nol­o­gy can’t do the job? Stop it ! At least the cur­rent hoax­ers are sell­ing tv com­mer­cials and get­ting some mon­ey back from the suck­ers watch­ing the show, instead of pour­ing their funds down the “mon­ey pit.”
