The latest flagship keyboard from Corsair is rocking their new Optical-Mechanical linear OPX switches and boasts of having the fastest hyper-polling in the world. Not only that, it features a new iCue wheel that adds some unique functionality to the keyboard, PBT double shot keycaps with a standard bottom row and the 6 macro keys on the side can also be used by Elgato Stream Deck — but you’re paying a premium price for all these features.

heres my take on it i have a k100 i was kinda on the fence about whether i should do a custom build op just go with the corsair… although the corsair is great and i love it if your asking yourself the same thing which to do unless you absolutely need a 100% keyboard for the price i would probably do a nice custom
8000hz hyper polling rate actually
how soft is their wrist rest compared to razers wrist rest
im gonna upgrade to the razer blackwidow elite with that optical clicky switches to the corsair K100 rgb new Optical-Mechanical linear OPX switches
Hello congratulations for the video! I am very interested in purchasing this k100 optical keyboard, but I wanted to ask you what you think about writing. I’ll explain. I currently have a Corsair k95 platinum Cherry mx speed. It’s great in game, but I make a lot of typos because the keys are just too sensitive. I wanted to know how the k100 seemed to you from this point of view because if the writing experiences are similar (k95 and k100) then I would switch to the new k70 RGB PRO with cherry mx RED (definitely better for writing too, as well as for playing). Thank you for the reply.
I buy it
Got this keyboard christmas 2021, they even updated it so it can now reach 8000hz polling
I have 2 of them and I think it’s absolutely absurd that you have to install Elcrapo stream deck software on top of icue just to program the Gkeys and run macros. It’s like holding my hardware hostage until I install their worthless trash affiliate company. It is absolutely unacceptable business.
i just wonder what to do with my pass thru..
got rid of my razer keyboard for this. best keyboard money can buy !!
Jeez he’s awful at csgo
im looking at getting this keyboard should i get the cherry mx or optical?
BUY THIS its only 300$ its worth it it is THE BEST GAMING KEYBOARD ITS UNDERPRICED
Hands down the nicest keyboard I have ever owned. I upgraded from the K95 Platinum and the difference is night and day.
Can this keyboard survive 6 years of use?
Whats even more mind blowing is that Corsair anounced that a software update will enable this to 8000 Hz polling rate — WOW!!! and I love the fact that it has a standard bottom row.
I was not sure if I should get one, but this video… sh** up and take my money $$$
Hmm looks like a good keyboard to move too my G910 is falling apart.
i hate new corsair keycaps. They break
The wristpad was so snugged to the keyboard that it accidently locked the lower keys of the keyboard in place, after I pressed them. I placed two very small pieces of plastic as spacers on the wristpad so that the spece between wristpad and keyboard was a little wider. Now it functiones great.
Other than the problem I wrote about above this is the best keyboard I have ever owned. Had to get used to the light touch but that did not take long.
My favorite keyboard as of Jan 2023, and I don’t play games.
Just ordered can’t wait to get it 😬
I think most of the people commenting on this def have buyers remorse and is high on copium. This keyboard feels hollow when typing the and the ping sound is horrible. The switches are smooth and they are on a hairline trigger. The icue software is barely functional and is something they need to revamp. The key wobble is pretty significant and definitely could be improved.
The keys have extremely little resistance paired with their hairline trigger makes it so that if you rest your fingers on the buttons there is a good chance to trigger to key by accident. I used this keyboard and swapped to a proper keyboard and the difference is significant. Never going back if anyone wants this keyboard for next to nothing let me know I’ll never us it again.
If you want a good keyboard for anything BUT gaming I dont think Corsair is a good fit. Way better to look into more typing focused brands like iKBC (my personal favorite) or CoolerMaster, Filco, or Leopold
Lol 4khz polling rate. There are so many factors that prevent this from even mattering. Marketing wankery, but I bought the keyboard because I want a nice keyboard.
today is 31-10-2023 price in algeria is 350 euro
Are you a brother of Mark Wahlberg? 🙂
