Don’t compare sony with other brands…It’s SONY
Android TV his leaps better than Roku. And what if I told you all other reviews have said that the x900h provides a better picture
I have an odd question that not even the Sony TV BestBuy salesman could answer today. Is there a picture off mode on this tv? I have a 2014 Sony Bravia XBR-55X850B that shares the sound with my projector using an hdmi splitter, so this is important to me when I want to switch back and forth bc the tv needs to be on but with a black screen so I can pull the projector screen down in front of it without the light bleeding through. My current Sony remote has the picture off button but I noticed the remote for this tv doesn’t and he couldn’t find that option in the menu but he also didn’t seem to know as much about it as I expected him to.
Please share opinions! — I’ve been waiting to buy the TCL-75r635… as i was set on giving up the futureproofing 4k120.. as 1440p120 works… everything else checks the boxes(movies30%gaming70%Darkroom) (i know i know will you use it blah blah i want it to last me 5 years).
BUT for on average i can get this 75x900h for around $200 more (plus tax) in my local area (best buy canada). IS THIS TV WORTH $230 more? —more importantly should i want ANDROID TV over ROKU???.… the cash is aside for either of these tv’s but in canada its $2000 TCL 75 vs $2200 Sony75(sale from$3000 retail here)
So many mixed opinions on ROKU v Android…
Share some opinions please ?
When will you be reviewing the new Vizio OLED?
I have a sony xbr 55 in its like 6 years old, can you tell the difference if its 4k at 55inches?
I took the TV 85 “SONY X900H, and so far, for those who issue any update to the TV, it is still 60p and not available 120p. I have a ps5 and xbox x and it does not support yet. As for the sound issue, I have a Sony sound bar, the latest model, and unfortunately if I use an EARC HDMI cable, there is no sound only with the cable Opticle works until ACR does not work, and unfortunately, they said the four ports support 2.1, and after what I bought they said only port 3 and 4 only
This TV is absolute garbage! I bought the TV 3 days ago, updated the firmware update for the 4K @ 120hz, and after that the TV kept shutting down every 10 seconds. Followed the direction from Sony’s website and call customer support, and they advised the TV needs to be serviced due to flashing red lights ( 4x ). Been reading a lot of forums and this is a common issue with Sony’s firmware updates crashing the panel. BEWARE!!! I returned it and order an LG NANO 90. While the NANO 90 lacks contrast than a VA panel, it already supports 4K @ 120hz, 1440p @ 120 native, VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision with no issues. Will never buy another Sony product ever again!
does anyone that has the 75″ model knows if the base can be adjusted closer to the center?
Does assassin’s creed odyssey stutter on this tv?
2020-soon to be 2021
Hows the antenna side of this TV ?? would liketo see a channel antenna set up scan done
Anyone else having the issue where you turn the TV on and the WiFi isn’t connected? Then you go to turn it on and it turns itself back off? Happened to me two days in a row.
Just grabbed one today
I think I went to high school with this guy
Or maybe it was prison
how is this mid range its the top of the series without getting into oled territory also its not mid priced its like 1500 dollars
Purchased the 55″ this week. I have a Sony 2.1 sound bar connect via ARC but noticed when watching cable TV the sound is high and when watching Netflix, the sound seems “lower”, and I have to raise the volume. Anybody have an explanation for this?
So far the TV is great. All the apps included is terrific and after the update, Apple TV also loaded up(as promised)
I’m glad you mentioned the “ATSC 3.0 port”; but isn’t that port you showed just an ordinary RF coaxial connector which currently works with good, old-fashioned ATSC 1.0? Thanks.
HELP!! Can anyone comment on the smoothness on motion when watching sports ?? I just returned a Samsung Q80T since it was absolutely garbage streaming live sports, so Blurry. I know SONY are better than Samsung when it comes to motions but can anyone tell my how live sports run at this TV ??
0:57 ‘the remote is a fly swatter’🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What size was the x900h in this vid
Happy to hear that this has good shadow details in gaming, I have a 5yr old Vizio P‑Series and I can’t for the life of me see anything in dark areas while gaming!
Is this better to get as a 55” or 65”?
Whats the tv stand ??
If you plan on using the native apps or eARC on this TV don’t even bother. Do your own research before buying.
Who does better upscaling?
According to Rtings, it actually beats the TCL in almost every category.
