I have been fan os gsm are­na for more than a decade now. Great job guys. I will get this phone today. For about 450 eur it is a bargain.

The peo­ple of this chan­nel are infor­ma­tive, nice voice, always has good video but they look kin­da odd. Base­ment geek looks with knowl­edge of the deep uni­verse. The faces they have, you cant tell whether they are giv­ing good or bad news.

Worst mobile

I have owned and Xiao­mi 8, 9, and this 10T Pro. I will not be buy­ing anoth­er. After own­ing it for less than 10 month the Cam­era broke. I sent it in for repair in Sep­tem­ber and it is still not fixed, more than 2 months lat­er. I am hav­ing to call the Xiao­mi repair cen­ter to get sta­tus updates and they are not respon­sive. Ter­ri­ble ser­vice and sup­port. This is the last Xiao­mi I will be buy­ing. I use to rec­om­mend the prod­uct to friends and rel­a­tives — that will not be hap­pen­ing any­more. Instead, I will be let­ting them know how hor­ri­ble the ser­vice has been and about the prod­ucts lack of reli­a­bil­i­ty. Anoth­er thing I did not like are the updates — too many bugs in the OS, and also the num­ber of updates you get over the life of the prod­uct (too few). Yes, it is cheap — but this is clear­ly a case of you get what you paid for, and in my case even less. I cant wait over 2 months for my phone to be fixed, I am using an old one in the inter­im and will now have to get some­thing else.

I have a Xiao­mi Mi 10T Pro — and the GPS posi­tion “freezes” when using navigation.

This is man­i­fest­ed by the fact that when dri­ving a car or walk­ing, the GPS loca­tion posi­tion just seems to lock up. I checked on the GPStest and it looks like the GPS posi­tion freezes / locks, the satel­lites show active (but do not change) to the way I go, e.g. 40km / h and stop, then the nav­i­ga­tion shows these 40km / h and the hour (sec­onds) do not update in GPS.

It detects the GPS posi­tion very well, AGPS reset or, for exam­ple, clean­ing the GoogleMaps cache does not help. Some­times restart­ing the phone will help, some­times the posi­tion itself will unlock. I thought it might be a prob­lem with the maps, but all the maps go crazy and there is also a prob­lem on GPS test­ing appli­ca­tions as I described.

In prac­tice, when dri­ving on any map, e.g. GoogleMaps — the posi­tion goes crazy, moves back­wards / jumps for­ward / back­wards, shows bad­ly or reacts with a huge delay.

I noticed that if I turn off “loca­tion” in the menu — then all satel­lites / posi­tion / time / speed are blocked (i.e. sim­i­lar­ly to this prob­lem that the GPS itself locks when it wants to), but in this case I force the loca­tion to be turned off . That’s what I noticed by accident.

Some­one may have a sim­i­lar problem?

Amaz­ing phone

Have this phone for over 2 years. And what can I tell about it. I had a lot of phones from cheap to flag­ship android and iphones, but this phone I love it, it has great per­for­mance and great cam­eras, nev­er lag in this 2 years or any prob­lem with lag­ging. Dis­play is great and i pre­fer lcd more over led. Hap­tic is great and has a flag­ship feel. Bater­ry after over 2 years of very heavy use is at 83% and effi­cient­ly is at 88%, and I’m a real­ly heavy user and still I get one day of using and 5–6h od screen on time. Only prob­lem is with the vir­tu­al prox­im­i­ty sen­sor where it turns in screen some­times when you are talk­ing on the phone, but I’m used to it. Its great phone and real­ly good quality.
