The new iPad Air for 2020 borrows all the best design elements from the iPad Pro. It has a bigger screen, smaller bezels, and works with all the Pro accessories. It also has a wicked fast A14 Bionic processor and TouchID on the power button. It’s the best iPad for most people, if you can afford the $599 price.

Are you upgrading to the new iPad Air?
My only gripe with ipad os is lack of multi user support
i thank apple maks stuff to priceeeee and they should drop it but I do love the I pad air
$ 599????????? omg I hate the Canadian dollar. Here it’s $779 for the 64 gb and $979 for the 256GB. 🙁
I bought the iPad Air and already had problems. 1. The iMessage has a red “!” on it that Apple tech support could not fix it so they sent it to the engineers to figure it out. 2. The Wi-Fi will could not recognize my Canon 5D Mk IV camera so I can do some wireless photo transfer. 3. The Wi-Fi could not also recognize my Canon Pixma Pro 100 wireless printer which is suppose to be compatible with the iPad Air 4th Gen. The only thing the Wi-Fi could recognize is my wireless router for internet browsing. WTF Apple! My Galaxy cell phone could recognize the Camera and the Printer.
Now I hate my iPad air. Shouldv’e gotten the pro
Great video! If I purchase the iPad Air, either of the keyboards you mentioned, and the pencil, I’m now into MacBook price range. Can you discuss and compare the two in a future video please? 🙂
I have the pro 2 gen is it worth upgrading to this ?
You don’t press to unlock
I’ve never brought and ipad before and I hear that they are good for artists, is there any artists using this professionally
I have one, Just stick with your ipad 4th gen, don’t insert air into it. (The ipad 4 2012 has better battery life with iCloud backup)
There are only two option for storage. I want 128gb only
I’m thinking of switching to an iPad Air for my photo editing and also for writing. I shoot portraits and headshots. I use Photoshop and Lightroom. I’m also a writer. Now that the Pro has come out, I’m stuck. Do I really need the pro? The air will blow away what I’m using now, just speed alone. Still, I’m tempted by the new Pro.
I’m currently using an antiquated (but still chugging along) 21” desktop iMac (2011) with an elderly Wacom tablet for photo edits. I use a 2020 MacBook Air i3 as my laptop, and it does everything else, but really heats up and throttles if I edit photos or play any serious games. So, mostly use the laptop for my writing. As I mentioned, in addition to my photo work, I’m also a professional copywriter. I do a lot of content consumption and web browsing in safari. And I take part time classes as a student. I need to read, write, edit photos, use email, zoom meet, and watch content. Play some games. Journal.
I want to pare down.
I recently thought, “Would an iPad just do everything I need? Could it?”
Especially with the Apple Pencil and a Magic Keyboard, I feel like I could do everything. Photo edits & retouching, writing, reading and content consumption, streaming and surfing, etc.
And after seeing the Apple keynote, and the new M1 iPad.…DROOL. Wow. Now I’m thinking of ditching my laptop and buying an iPad. Never really used one.
Do you recommend the air?
Just picked me one up today. Well I ordered it, but it will be here next week 🙂 Nice video
I want to get an iPad Air 4 and my budget will allow for the magic keyboard and pencil (which are essential to my needs as a photographer and freelance writer)…but only I get the 64gb.
My only question is, will I regret not getting 256gb?
I’m going to be using this as a replacement for my i3 MacBook Air laptop, which I mostly use for writing, content consumption, emails, zoom calls, photo editing, web surfing and media streaming.
Me watching in the original iPad Air
Wonderful review
can u print from a ipad air
with Big Sur instead of ipadOS, it would be excellent
Watching right now on my IPad Air
Can someone explain to me what the ipad air with wifi means? Does it come with its own wifi? And if i just buy a regular ipad air without the “wifi” can i still connect with any wifi?
900
Does the iPad Air (2020) have a recording limit for either the front facing or back facing camera?
I want something to write my novel on. I really like my 2015 IPad but I would prefer a better keyboard. Anyone know if the magic keyboard is good for long typing sessions?
599? As of today the basic 64GB/WiFi model costs $745 and cellular option is 900$ here in Poland. That’s cruel, considering that an AVERAGE monthly salary is only $970 here, that’s an amount that an average American worker gets per week. It’s unfair that in the US stuff is even cheaper regardless of much higher earnings.
So if I took this with an Apple Pencil and the magic keyboard to college instead of buying an expensive laptop, would I be fine?
I needed this! Thanks!
When this man posted this video the next day was my birthday
Me like: daddy I want an iPad for my birthday
How much is it
I just got an iPad Air for my birthday, I absolutely love it to draw on it, (ibis paint x) it’s great! 💕
I just got mine a few days ago with the magic keyboard and im using it ervyday and its so good personely i think this is better than the ipad pro im typing this also on my magic keyboard
do they come with the pencils?
iPad Air or MacBook air 🤔
I got the ipad 4 10.9 inch sky blue color it is really good!
I got the iPad Air had it since last December but you do not need to push now the button to do your finger id just let your finger sit on it for a good 2 secs
how the hell did you do a review and didn’t even talk about the screen of a tablet lol
Just traded in my iPad 6 for this and the air is so much nicer. Really glad I decided to do it. The display is significantly better and it’s just a lot quicker with that A14 and 4gb of ram.
Just got the iPad Air, thank your for sharing your time and experience with it. Debating on the Magic Keyboard?
Do we have to buy the keyboard?
Pop
Just both these for my kids almost 1.2k for 2 tablets
Me dont have ipad but still watching
how usbc is better then lightning ?
lightning is way better i know its JUST ANOTHER PORT but wth. i dont see what so great bout usbc
The statement that it’s the best computing experience for $600 is grossly, laughably and outrageously wrong; it’s probably an outright lie if not sheer ignorance. I bought a full-size desktop computer for $260 that can fit all four of my 3.5 inch hard drives in its Cooler Master case, and as a computing device, there’s simply no comparison between any tablet and a full-fledged Windows desktop!
Sent from my Motorola Edge S!
🖤💕🌻😉💟
it was a m1 chip stupid
the ipad 8th gen is basically a more stripped down version of the ipad air 3. Same cpu but less attractive. They should just keep the older ipad air instead of killing it and taking the hardware into a new basic ipad
