New iPad Air (2020) review

Are you upgrad­ing to the new iPad Air?

i thank apple maks stuff to priceeeee and they should drop it but I do love the I pad air

I bought the iPad Air and already had prob­lems. 1. The iMes­sage has a red “!” on it that Apple tech sup­port could not fix it so they sent it to the engi­neers to fig­ure it out. 2. The Wi-Fi will could not rec­og­nize my Canon 5D Mk IV cam­era so I can do some wire­less pho­to trans­fer. 3. The Wi-Fi could not also rec­og­nize my Canon Pix­ma Pro 100 wire­less print­er which is sup­pose to be com­pat­i­ble with the iPad Air 4th Gen. The only thing the Wi-Fi could rec­og­nize is my wire­less router for inter­net brows­ing. WTF Apple! My Galaxy cell phone could rec­og­nize the Cam­era and the Printer.

Great video! If I pur­chase the iPad Air, either of the key­boards you men­tioned, and the pen­cil, I’m now into Mac­Book price range. Can you dis­cuss and com­pare the two in a future video please? 🙂

I have one, Just stick with your ipad 4th gen, don’t insert air into it. (The ipad 4 2012 has bet­ter bat­tery life with iCloud backup)

I’m think­ing of switch­ing to an iPad Air for my pho­to edit­ing and also for writ­ing. I shoot por­traits and head­shots. I use Pho­to­shop and Light­room. I’m also a writer. Now that the Pro has come out, I’m stuck. Do I real­ly need the pro? The air will blow away what I’m using now, just speed alone. Still, I’m tempt­ed by the new Pro. 

I’m cur­rent­ly using an anti­quat­ed (but still chug­ging along) 21” desk­top iMac (2011) with an elder­ly Wacom tablet for pho­to edits. I use a 2020 Mac­Book Air i3 as my lap­top, and it does every­thing else, but real­ly heats up and throt­tles if I edit pho­tos or play any seri­ous games. So, most­ly use the lap­top for my writ­ing. As I men­tioned, in addi­tion to my pho­to work, I’m also a pro­fes­sion­al copy­writer. I do a lot of con­tent con­sump­tion and web brows­ing in safari. And I take part time class­es as a stu­dent. I need to read, write, edit pho­tos, use email, zoom meet, and watch con­tent. Play some games. Journal.

I want to pare down.

I recent­ly thought, “Would an iPad just do every­thing I need? Could it?”

Espe­cial­ly with the Apple Pen­cil and a Mag­ic Key­board, I feel like I could do every­thing. Pho­to edits & retouch­ing, writ­ing, read­ing and con­tent con­sump­tion, stream­ing and surf­ing, etc. 

And after see­ing the Apple keynote, and the new M1 iPad.…DROOL. Wow. Now I’m think­ing of ditch­ing my lap­top and buy­ing an iPad. Nev­er real­ly used one.

Do you rec­om­mend the air?

I want to get an iPad Air 4 and my bud­get will allow for the mag­ic key­board and pen­cil (which are essen­tial to my needs as a pho­tog­ra­ph­er and free­lance writer)…but only I get the 64gb.

My only ques­tion is, will I regret not get­ting 256gb?

I’m going to be using this as a replace­ment for my i3 Mac­Book Air lap­top, which I most­ly use for writ­ing, con­tent con­sump­tion, emails, zoom calls, pho­to edit­ing, web surf­ing and media streaming.

Can some­one explain to me what the ipad air with wifi means? Does it come with its own wifi? And if i just buy a reg­u­lar ipad air with­out the “wifi” can i still con­nect with any wifi?

Does the iPad Air (2020) have a record­ing lim­it for either the front fac­ing or back fac­ing camera?

599? As of today the basic 64GB/WiFi mod­el costs $745 and cel­lu­lar option is 900$ here in Poland. That’s cru­el, con­sid­er­ing that an AVERAGE month­ly salary is only $970 here, that’s an amount that an aver­age Amer­i­can work­er gets per week. It’s unfair that in the US stuff is even cheap­er regard­less of much high­er earnings.

How much is it

I just got mine a few days ago with the mag­ic key­board and im using it ervy­day and its so good per­son­e­ly i think this is bet­ter than the ipad pro im typ­ing this also on my mag­ic keyboard

iPad Air or Mac­Book air 🤔

I got the iPad Air had it since last Decem­ber but you do not need to push now the but­ton to do your fin­ger id just let your fin­ger sit on it for a good 2 secs

Just trad­ed in my iPad 6 for this and the air is so much nicer. Real­ly glad I decid­ed to do it. The dis­play is sig­nif­i­cant­ly bet­ter and it’s just a lot quick­er with that A14 and 4gb of ram.

Do we have to buy the keyboard?

Just both these for my kids almost 1.2k for 2 tablets

how usbc is bet­ter then light­ning ?
light­ning is way bet­ter i know its JUST ANOTHER PORT but wth. i dont see what so great bout usbc
