Apple has updated three Mac with its own M1 processors: the Macbook Air, the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the Mac mini. Will Intel-based apps run? Will they be fast? Will they live up to Apple’s battery life claims? Nilay Patel and Dieter Bohn have a thousand questions, and almost all of them have been answered.

Has Apple done enough to help you trust its all new processors?
The Touch Bar is the reason I did not upgrade. I’ll wait till they remove it like Apple did with the 14” and 16”
‘Apple should just admit the touch bar is bad like they did with the butterfly keyboard and go back’ Yes and they should also do that with their removal of all the ports for a return to functionality and sanity.
Could’ve gotten a like, but that last comment on touch screen?! Sorry 🙃👎🏻
(Just kidding; I liked the video very much—owning a M1 Air myself, rooting for it the whole time—but I genuinely disagree with the notion of a “touchscreen laptop” almost as much as I disagree with that of a “computer replacement iPad,” also having an iPad Pro.)

I’m sold. Getting an Air to replace my laptop next year. Probably gonna wait for M2.
any one else here after getting it for Christmas
This model is has better feel material premium touch and also feels robust than the new 2021 M1 with is all plastic. Same performance, just a tad bit faster but good enough. Anyone agrees with me here?
I love the Touch Bar for skipping you tube ads. 😀
I don’t mind the Touch Bar…..
I’ve gotten some performance issues like some lagging when running zwift and a YouTube video at once. It also gets the computer hot easily and can consume all the battery in less than 3 hours.
7:31 do macbooks have RGB keyboards ??
Thanks for masking. You guys rule!.
I cant understand why you used ios telegram on mac while it is nice mac version

Simplenote represent !!!
If they add support for Bootcamp and remove the notch on than it would be perfect…
Reviews by The Verge are just Incredible . To the point , no nonsense and without any idiotic thumbnails. Keep up the good work — Verge team!!
I wanted to wait foe m2 but I don’t want people to see more detail in my face on calls
…okay, but why the mask? Hahaahh!
The review is good and all that but WHY wearing a mask when you are alone or in a park? It’s ridiculous.
When you film stuff you can make things seems more ‘normal’ than they are; why do the opposite? I don’t understand.
The new Macs were, and are, amazing, btw
Man, the scriptwriters really have outdone themselves.
This is the best tech review i have ever seen.
Man I REALLY miss Dieter in the new videos 😢 he was honestly one of my all time favorite reviewers
10/10 but because the webcam is only 1080p it gets a 5/10. These reviews are so contrived…
Fanless MBA M1 sill have many Fans 🥰😎
At 7:31, RGB keyboard lights?
How much please
