That guy was underselling it, you could not set off secondary high explosives with a sledgehammer, it simply would not be possible.
Corrupted data in the intro of the video file.
3:38 the old guy remembered that he’s on camera.
He took it over from his father
Albright needs a better safety system. Safety glasses, safety goggles, gloves, not getting stuck by the nija tree.
With the likely re-election of President Biden, we’ll be getting rid of Ammonium Nitrate for domestic use, due to its danger to the public. As to farming, they’ll have to be more organic.
I believe I’ve learned next to nothing, except from the long-haired hippy dude!
I guess that chemist guy has never heard of Piranha solution. I will completely disolve carbon based objects like bone and meat in a matter of a few minutes with nothing left.
I live about 20 miles from that plant that makes RDX
I guess they dumped sulfuric acid onto the dislike button. Woooonder why.……?
If you think sulfuric acid and aluminum are fun, add a dash of lye to that mix, but not without a ventilation hood!
Pirahna fluid will dissolve people much faster, but that is one ingredient.
I worked at a metal surface treatment plant in Milwaukee back in the late 1880s (😉), which featured a 500-gal tank holding a heated mixture of 50% methylethylketone (MEK) and 50% formic acid (ants make it; dissolves nylon). This was used to strip paint from metal parts. The paint was so afraid of this stuff that it jumped off the part’s surface before it was lowered in the tank! Serious business!! 😄😄
26:50 darwin award
14:50 “everybody wants to know about falling into a vat of acid” this guy is psycho.
I will never eat Jello again.
Why isn’t Prof. Longhair wearing protective gloves and face mask when showing us how dangerous HCL is to a hot dog and chicken bone?
I wonder if thermoacidophiles could be adapted and evolved to help terraform Venus?
Hypothetically they would metabolize carbon dioxide and methane, discharging oxygenated thereby reducing the greenhouse effect until eventually it would collapse.
Anyone see how thick that PC of bacon dude was eating just after the hot dog and bone acid experiment? That’s a nice pig strip there
The US make 100 million tons of acid!? That’s enough to get the whole galaxy trippin’.
Probably should be wearing gloves.
Funny how youtube goes not block your content with ads!? ????
this is a bad recording transfer, well not 100% anyways.
Huge disappointment! I thought this was about LSD! Not proton donors, electron acceptors, etc.
I thought I was having internet problems, but the skips in the video are built-in.
Seriously? Is this the best copy you could get?
20:10
This was filmed no more than 18 years ago… What is with the misuse or complete lack of PPE in specialized industry?!
This episode must’ve been banned in Beirut Lebanon long ago.
The stop oil crowd should see this 🤣
I use 10 gallons of vinegar a year on cat pee.
I absolutely love this show.
Figured everyone, needs to know, what we spend our tax dollars on…
I never new that explosives came from acids. I just thought they were two different things.
A fun fact about the nitric acid that was being used to make military-grade explosives: when acid nitric acid is that pure, they can quickly cause the nitrile gloves you’d wear in a normal chemistry lab to burst into flames.
Why is it glitchy? Was it recorded clandestinely?
An average car weighs 2 tons???? WHAT? Are these “cars” full on trucks??? (The trucks which pull loads, not bed trucks)??
34:37 Nice Chevy AD LOL. I prefer a normal dashboard, not a metal one
Pitiful that you professionals have juvenile intrusive music that makes you look like amateurs. After viewing this, the average person would not think of you as professionals at all. Terrible format!
They got it wrong, the strongest acid is really LSD.
