In “Life After People,” scientists, structural engineers, and other experts speculate about what might become of Earth should humanity instantly disappear, from the fate of structures like the Sears Tower and the Sistine Chapel to the creatures that might inherit the places we once lived.

BUT WHAT ABOUT MY MOMS ANNAS HUMMING BIRDS?!?!?!??!?
One thing I’m wondering is what would happen to the Broken Arrow warheads?
No matter what the climate zealot thought police tell you, humans cannot make significant changes to the planet. The alarmism is for their own gain. A 4.5 billion year old planet won’t show evidence of us 1,000 years after we are gone.
Don’t forget about the moth ball fleets in the San Francisco Bay Area of old WW2 ships sitting in anchor collecting sea creatures
Not mentioned in this episode
Shalom dove 🕊️ of peace ☮️
Very informative of seemingly valid theories
You mean towels work like every other mammal and their milk just dries up when things aren’t going it out of their body what a crazy new bit of knowledge
And what a ridiculously conceited species we are is that for some reason they think that if we step out of the picture the cows wouldn’t just figure out how to feed their babies again we messed them up they’re not messed up
No mention of the missile silos? Nuclear waste canisters? Nuclear powered carriers and subs?
Battleships ain’t used anymore to defend us. The ones left are museums
i have withdrawn from heroin and thats the last place id wanna be to do it.…
Typhoid Mary spread the disease but wasn’t sick herself? That’s an oxymoron. Like saying the USA is not imperialist but loves to invade other countries
Don’t forget all the nuclear power plants are going to go kaboom
🫶 I LOVE this show. 😻
Man I miss this show, I wish they made more episodes
From the sounds of it you act like us being here is keeping that nuclear weapon under the water from exploding it’s still rotting now
what about all active duty naval vessald at sea uncluding nuclear powered ones. a lot.of.pollution
yes once you’re gone nature reclaim everything
One of my favorite series when it 1st aired…
I love this episode, great series. Thanks for the upload.
hope this comes true..we all be gone..
with out people..land will be free..what left alone is the cities and countries … it would be epic?
I’m curious. If something was catastrophic enough to kill all mankind wouldn’t it kill the animals too?
No People? Sounds fantastic. When will it happen? Humanity is overrated.
Ninety-nine percent of the dairy farms today or automated the cows get milk buy a robot there’s no hands touching the others or nothing it’s all done by robots they walk into the milking machine the robot hook some up milsim and then they walk on out the only thing a man would be doing is making sure the milk tanks don’t overflow and get shipped out
WaHAT ABOUT HOOVER DAM
Spokesman for every other living thing on Earth: “Lets get to work on this. The sooner the better.”
The thumbnail shows BB63 USS Missouri. And the Wisconsin was the last U.S. battleship launched
wrong the camera man would know what would happen
Great video
After all of these episodes and knowing what the inevitable ending will be; nature reclaiming everything man built and animals reestablishing themselves as top of the food chain, it’s still a fascinating watch to see how each structure gets to that state.
2:45
15k feet?
Those warheads could go off and we would never know.
Wouldn’t nuclear power plants start popping off pretty quickly or did humans shut them down before we left the earth for what ever reason
Who narrated this? He’s a really good narrator.
50 years after people, no one remembers their names
That was the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard
rip pearl harbor because its already been bombed now natur is like nah i will do the rest rip😢
Anyone familiar with Graham Hancock’s lost civilization theory should watch this series. It shows just how little would be left from the start of the Younger-Dryas cataclysm to the end (1200 years), much less if you’re looking for evidence from 13,000 years ago.
20 episodes in the series, and so far only 13 made available here.
We need a Season 3 of this with modern graphics
I read the book about that attempt rhe cia made to grab that russian sub
The cows would never survive a winter in the Midwest, unlike the Bison. Exotic zoo animals like elephants would survive in the hotter southern states, but not up north.
Um, maybe we should do something about those missles in the ocean. The water penetration will occur in time whether humans are around or not.
I love how they keep showing Canadian geese they will live
Why don’t they take the tail fin /wing off& store them, save on WRK,
Each plane has a serial no.
The part with the building collapsing makes me think of 911. The joists that held up the WTC where weekend by the fire, which were super heated by jet fuel. That caused the whole building, top to collapse, which made the rest of the building collapse.
The warships look so much like the ones in Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. Those games are 1,000 ish years after people were taken out then brought back. Another reason I love this show, it’s like watching the game but with great commentary and science.
4:30 Someone better tell Mr. Chavez that the power to his cathodic protection system needs some immediate attention. A flashing power indicator and zero DC output is not a desirable condition.
(All joking aside, I cannot believe they allowed the camera crew to stage such foolishness}
While other ships sink Quickly, the Missouri peacefully sinks to the bottom unlike other ships and slowly and steadily deteriorates at a slow paste.
Those pickled aircraft in Arizona will last a very long time.
Actually most of those milk cows with face what we are on the dairy farm referred to as caking, yeah there is a certain amount of that milk that would be absorbed of course really the cow would discharge the milk as much as they could but there is a certain amount that is left that literally goes to what we call cake and if it is enough it actually can kill them.
They’re only real defense is to let loose of the milk. And then their bodies will make the adjustments!
But you do actually stand the chance that you would lose a lot of cattle of course if we’re not here it wouldn’t matter to us!
