Thank you for making this video! There are tons of videos comparing newer Pixels with each other but none comparing the OG with Pixel 5. The photos from the OG Pixel still looks great. The Pixel 5 is only marginally better.
Pixel 1 also has Night Mode
Am I the only one that thinks the P5 won every round? That’s not a knock on the P1 but especially in that zoom shot, the P5 was easily more detailed than the P1.
I’d like to see a comparison of the P1 original software vs P1 updated to the latest software.
Why didn’t you do an updated pixel 1
But google pixel 1 have unlimited photo and thats what i want
The ultimate “Pixel Peeping”
Great review! Thank you
Ilove pixel. But why they dont release high megapixel camera? Like iphone.
Dude has a hasselblad xpan I’m jealous
I have nexus 5x and nothing has changed, the same 12mp as in a mid range phone 5 years ago.
Too bad their video quality is bad…
To be honest, I started to lose hope and hype to every single one of new pixels since pixel 3. Back then og pixel was one of the flagships and it was so good with vanilla Android. Now I can’t say that anymore since others are catching up so quickly and they are losing the advantages day by day.
I switched to galaxy s10 2 years ago and I’m still very happy about it, sure the camera may still fall short to pixels, but it’s not really huge disadvantage anymore and it has ultra wide which pixel did not have until this year. And software? Honestly I don’t see much difference between one UI 2.5 and vanilla Android 10
How Pixel cameras have changed: They haven’t. Google is literally using the same sensor from the Pixel 3 on the Pixel 5.
I completely agree with you i still have the pixel one and honestly i didn’t find a good reason to upgrade !! I’m fine with the performance of the phone i only want to upgrade when there’s a big improvement in the camera and battery and let’s face it there’s no improvement in both !
Google BLUE as away…😂😂😂😂
In a weird way I think the older Pixels made much better pictures — they were punchier.
With my new Pixel I always have to use filters since they are rather boring.
Pixel 1 got a night mode
很棒
I like how you subtly inserted your multi thousand dollar X‑Pan camera in one of the shots 😆👍🏼
I think you should do a blind test
Actually if you consider how smartphone display nowadays always tweaked by manufacturers to be more saturated, it make sense for Pixel 5 to have muted color compared to Pixel 1.
Well I’m currently using my pixel 1 cause I’m waiting for my new iPhone but tbh I’m ngl the camera is the best and really crispy ❤️💫🤩🔥💯
You convinced me to buy a new battery for my pixel xl. Thanks
Xiomi : I need 4 cameras
Google : 1 is enough
pixel og in xl was dope. it even had bigger pixels than the 5
@3:00 My pixel 1 has “night sight”…yours doesn’t?
how is the video? for youtube vlogging
I’d really love to see it compared across the line. At the same time, the differences between the 1 and 5 are not that pronounced. I really wish they had gone down the path of using many cameras. I feel like a cluster of cameras, different focal lengths, coupled with software could do more than an upgraded camera could. Imagine a setup takes one picture with one sensor, but tries to use exposure data from a second angle to grab SOME lighting data and apply it to the main picture. Effectively, making longer exposures in less time. If two sensors can confirm “this is actually this shade of blue” the software could see that and say “Yes, go ahead and make that portion extra blue.”
Sadly my Pixel OG was gone last month. Boot loop issue. I want my pixel OG back! 🙁
Ok this is cool comparison
Whoever bought the pixel 2 and sticked to it is the real champ
I hoped to see some video comparison as well. Especially the selfy cams. ;-/
He sounds like MKBHD. Lol
