If you have a touchbar and can’t find a use to it try using bettertouchtool. After downloading btt then you can download the mod golden chaos and voila the touchbar got a purpose.

I actually love the touchbar. I don’t understand the hate it gets. You just gotta take some time customizing it for each app.
Personally I can’t live without it. My smaller macbook doesn’t have it, it’s frustrating. I keep reaching for my shortcuts but there’s no touchbar 😔
I also use Karabiner-Elements to map ⇪ to ⇧⌃⌥⌘
