joey fine.
“Over 30% of all new supermarkets being built in the US, are aimed at Hispanic customers.”
That’s scary.
😂where’s my comment 🤔
Most american food seems lifeless and like induce death culture in frozen and processed from scratch from prisoner in jail cell. Some mysterious neat to unknown pamasan cheese could be human yeast from private part create bad fengshui. The sad truth that I ate it most of my living years
How to be that big without communism
If you look it up, some of the supermarkets they built in the 60s and 70s looked incredible. The architecture and design were better than the warehouse looking stores today. I still remember the elevator music they used to play growing up in the 70s.
amasing!
This show is so old, the lightbulbs offered on the shelf are still incandescent. Whole Foods used to be awesome. Jeff Bezos has utterly ruined it. It’s nothing like the store shown in this video anymore. For a store like that, you have to go to Wegmans.
We are getting lazy here in stores.
You wjat else pushes us to keep goong back?.….hunger is a thing that comes to mind
Wow before whole foods sold its soul. Very interesting

Safeway is owned by Albertsons (2016), and now Albertsons and Kroger are merging (2024)
The deal, which is expected to close in 2024, would combine two of the largest supermarket chains in the country and create one of its largest private employers. The two companies have a combined 710,000 workers – most of them unionized in an industry with low union rates – nearly 5,000 stores and more than $200 billion in sales. The companies say they reach 85 million households.
InstaCart, Baby! Nothing like it for us old fogies at home with a broken leg.
Anyone else notice that IBM chose to name their UPC Barcode Scanner the Model “3666”? There are no coincidences. (About 24 minutes in…)
2006 to 2024 has a lot really changed? Don’t think so. Took 22:00 minutes to mention Wally World and only a very short mention about them. Went to work for them in 2000 until 2014, what a joke, Profits are what their worried about but that’s the same whether it’s retail or manufacturing.
I go to the Walmart super store in brimfeel township Ohio
Seems like there is a lot of effort to develop technologies that will put grocery checkers out of work. We are going to miss them when their are gone. Remember when grocery stores had butchers, and not just someone wearing a white smock reloading the meat case with prepackaged syrofoam trays of meat. I can still see those green frilly dividers between the different cuts of meat.
Those singing animatronics at Stew Leonard’s would make me run for the hills… ugh!
I don’t do self checkout! This country is going very automated, which takes jobs away from people! Then people are out of job on unemployment again! And the giant wind fans, that’s a joke! They go to a landfill because they can’t be recycled!!
Me realizing so many years later that this episode was a giant commercial for capitalism.
Now we know where IBM blew all its cash.
Thank you truckers and dock workers. Been there, done that.
