Short sellers are not bad. They are evil. Short selling should be illegal. It is anti market, anti growth and is short of price manipulation. Normal Retailers invest their hard earned cash in equity because they believe in the company. Shorts gain at the expense of investors without even actually investing in the company. Genius move perhaps, but how often would you compliment a vampire sucking blood out of its victims?
Hi. Can I ask u something? Many analysts said to force the GME shares to $800? Last nite I q to sell just 1 share @$800. The market price then was $278, within 200% margin to place orders. Twice the order was rejected! Do they have the right to reject any order within the 200% margin from market price? Tks. U r the best pro to ask.
Hello to all HUMANS
I’ve been in the brokerage world for over 10 years and the information being given here is totally misleading. The retail brokerage market share is tiny and cannot move markets full stop. All the movement is done by institutional funds, pushing one way, pumping in this instance(Gamestop) and then they will dump it. Simple. But the angle is blame the internet/retail investors then dump it (naked shorting) No or very little retail involvement at all. Its just hype that retail or you and I can move a equity. Lmao… smucks… 😂😂
she’s pathological lier she sounds like hedge fund grandmomma
nothing gets through gamers and gaming. not even rich people.
Great video!
Jesus is king 👑..
Important lesson.
Never declare war on the internet.
So basically hedge funds will never be able to short a company out of business again and thats how it should be. sorry but it shouldnt be more profitable to bet on and cause failure than to just invest and celebrate success.
It’s strange how people talk about all the profit they have been making through trading of bitcoin While I’m here not making any profit at all. Can someone put me through on the right path.
Short selling should be outlawed today, this is another nail in sort sellers are now the bad guys to Man/Woman on the street!
30 years war was the culmination of thr conflict between nobility and society, who knows what similar things coming out nrxt
👎👎👎
That lady may know a great deal but she could not explain how to light a match if life on earth depended on it 😂
Well, it’s kind of mind blowing that you can sell something you don’t own… It shouldn’t even be allowed in my opinion, but well, my opinion doesn’t matter!
It was actualy a modified pump and dump like it happens daily in the crypto world. Except that Robinhood scamed the buyers by shutting of purchases and let selling go on. For the profit of the hedge funds off course. There was a second pump afterwards…im seing this daily in crypto trading bu alot smaller %. GME pumped traight 100x+, which is crazy.
Buy ford stock
You got this, as well as the woman, you both got this story horribly wrong . Just horrible coverage both of you knew nothing of what you were saying . Hedge funds short sold way more of the stock than there actually was and people seen this and trapped the hedge funds . The brokerage companies suspended trading and protected the hedge funds . Charges should’ve been brought against these brokers . Don’t make videos on things you don’t know anything about .
What I want to know is: which agency provided information about companies being shorted? I heard they said that after GameStop they will not continue to make that information public.
Hedge fund and commodities traders are slime. Traders should be forced by law to only buy and sell real, physical products that actually exist right now…no more of this “futures” crap. This is exactly why gas costs $6 a gallon. You want to buy X barrels of oil? Fine, but you better have a warehouse or tanks big enough to store actual oil. No more “speculating” and manipulating prices.
This makes absolutely nothing to me. No financial literacy.
With all due respect, This lady explained nothing. Literally.
The video did not really explain the short squeeze on GME.
I got a Robin Hood ad to watch this video😅
I dont think reatil traders could move markets, even small caps
How does one go about borrowing and selling stocks? You just get the money from borrowing a stock and then selling it?
I hope people understand what happened here.
