Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro review: $130 ANC buds

The $130 Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros do a lot of things well, but so do a lot of other earbuds at this price. It’s their competitive active noise cancellation and well-designed app that helps them stand out though.

Bud, what wireless earbud should I review next?
I love mine!
I feel like the new firmware update made louder, now that we have other eq options from the Grammy producers.
I just went and bought the Liberty Air 2 Pro’s, the Jabra Active 75t, and the Galaxy Buds Pro. I’m samsung guy so I wanted to love those the most, but while they sound great, the fit is a struggle. The Liberty’s surprisingly had the most and deepest bass between all 3, and I thought sounded the best (not by a lot — all sound great). Buds and 75t had better ANC. The Liberty’s stay in my ear very well, even doing burpees. They were the cheapest of the 3 so I was surprised I liked them the most. The biggest 2 improvements they could make would be to add multipoint BT, and up the IPX rating.
Is she or he?
Great review — fun and informative — thanks :))
Can this be used for calling purpose specifically via laptop for Teams, for long duration office calls?
Will these fall out while running?
Hey I like this young lady. She does an amazing job of explaining things. Props to her.
You are Special! Nailed it!
Pathetic Product , it stopped working after 3 months of Purchase. The left part does not gets connected at all.
How is the earbuds for making and listening to phone calls?
Please review the OnePlus Buds Pro
Awesome Earbus! And now support LDAC!!!
Just got these. I won them from the company I work for. I am truly shocked at the quality of these earbuds. I really wasn’t expecting much because my company doesn’t normally give away high quality stuff. Tried these out just for fun and I think they’re going to replace my current pair of earbuds. I was using razer hammerhead true wireless earbuds, and for the price point these have way more features and a better battery life. Plus with the firmware update you can customize the tap controls. Additionally I have really small ears and I’ve always had trouble getting earbuds to fit properly but these have so many different sized tips I found the smallest size fits perfectly for me and I can actually move my head without them falling out.
How are they compared to Nothing Ear1?
how much money you will take from it 😡
Love your way of presentation.
DON’T BUY THEM. HONESTLY !!!!!!! ( or buy them if you like to suffer !!! )
THEY HAVE VERY VERY VERY BAD BLUETOOTH CONNECTION WITH LOADS OF INTERRUPTIONS, LAGGY /FRAMING AND THE BUDS DISCHARGE ASYNCHRONOUS AND CHARGE THE SAME. on a FULLY CHARGED case — AFTER ONE HOUR USE => left bud 40% power left — right bud 80% power .. REALLY Anker? Is this all you can do for 100$ ear buds?
MOST OF THE TIME ONLY ONE BUD IS CONNECTING, THE OTHER IS “LOST IN SPACE” .. AND PLENTY OTHER STRESSING SITUATIONS .
THEY’RE NOT GOOD FOR PHONE CALLS AND HAVE A HUGE LACK ON MICROPHONE QUALITY.
PEACE ALL!
Loving it so far
Confused between liberty 2 pro and air2 pro… Please suggest which one to go with
I don’t know her name, but this reviewer Rocks! Awesome review and enjoyed watching.
I Think Mcrophone Tests should be standard by now? 🙁
Wow Excellent review, the best I have every seen for the earbuds, clearly explained to the point, very detail and informative; thank you so much, I am ordering a pair right I after I finish thanking you here; happy holydays and happy new year.
These earbuds are veru irritating . Its very hard to use them on multiple devices. Once i use them in gym on treadmill TV when i come back home they dont connect to my laptop. I have to reboot my laptop for them to work. Dont know if the issue is with laptop or my earbuds. Also when i use them with my phone and try to change it to a different device i have to restart my earbuds. Not sure other earbuds do the same
I like this style of video
Where you get your mask?
Price in sri lanka-
So what’s the score?
Amazing in depth review, thanks for the organic honesty and personalized review..
] Thank you, Anker. Thank her. Thanker.
These headphones are wonderful but just be warned they’re kind of heavy and get uncomfortable after a while. If you’re in this price range I highly recommend that nothing air 1’s
Thanks for review
no volume control?! who goes to the app while exercising? ugh!
The best earbud I ever had first one I can wear all day without hurting my ears
Waiting for you to get the pixel buds pro
I buy same today but when listing music there’s big noise
Great video, really love the quality of the videography. Wish you would have talked about the call quality but all around really enjoyed this review
Great review, but call quality aspect missed out, each bud has 6 mics.
Excellent video
I’ve just bought a pair of these and am quite disapppinted with the sound quality. The only earphones I’ve had before these were Apple Earpods(the basic wired earphones of Apple), and these Liverty Air 2 Pro are my first bluetooth earphones and they sound noticeably worse than Earpods. I did expect wireless earphones to be a bit worse than wired ones when it comes to sound quality but considering Earpods just cost around $20, I’m quite shocked how underwhelming the Liverty Air 2 Pro are. Will the high end wireless earbuds above $200 at least sound better than Earpods, or is this just a limitaion of wireless earphones in general that one has to accept?
NFC Pairing is the best method, just a tap and you’re good to go.
I like the case . The slide is way cooler than the regular clamshell even if it has magnets
Wait if the slide had magnets that would be even cooler
Becca, can you compare these to the Soundcore 3 Pro and/or Soundcore 4 4?
Any review that does not include call quality is an incomplete review. We are not here to waste time by watching how one dance, but get an honest and quality details of the product.
call quality ?
Becca is the best!!! I enjoy this review. I keep coming back to watch, even though I’ve owned these buds for a little over a year
They are $45 now
