NASA Picks SpaceX for Artemis Human Lunar Lander Development
[vid_tags]
NASA is getting ready to send astronauts to explore more of the Moon as part of the Artemis program, and the agency has selected SpaceX to continue development of the first commercial human lander that will safely carry the next two American astronauts to the lunar surface.
The agency’s powerful Space Launch System rocket will launch four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft for their multi-day journey to lunar orbit. There, two crew members will transfer to the SpaceX human landing system (HLS) for the final leg of their journey to the surface of the Moon. After approximately a week exploring the surface, they will board the lander for their short trip back to orbit where they will return to Orion and their colleagues before heading back to Earth.

Let starship carry people to the moon sls just belongs to the museum
great need help?
How to become a astronaut
Hell’a blue origin
Y not apollo
Seems like the “lunar base” won´t be a base on the moon, but orbiting the moon. This might confirm that the moon is actually filled with bases and other alien races, as claimed by Corey Goode. Don´t you find weird that they wouldn´t build a base ON the moon? It´s because they don´t have permission. Let´s see if we gonna get a full disclosure event if this project actually happens.
My dream is coming soon I am so excited I didn’t know NASA is with space X but idc
Long as the mission goes right. 😀🙂🙃
If NASA had made additional and upgraded Space Shuttles, they could have returned to the moon in 80s. Even if they didn’t. They could have gone back 6 years ago if they wanted to. But they didn’t want to. They wanted politics.
I had a feeling Space X would win. Exciting stuff!
WOW
This is one great step to the stars where we will invent hyperdrive or worp speed.
I’m glad NASA has chosen starship as the lunar lander. It’s a space station all by itself. NASA should cancel Gateway, the space station to which the lunar lander will dock. Starship would be the space station
You did the right thing. Tip to aerospace companies: You don’t win contracts by throwing tantrums big enough to hold up the work.
It makes sense that SpaceX will be the company that will carry out the next moon landing endeavour. They’ve got the lightning fast development, insane innovation, and implementation of all things aerospace.
We have been there when German scientists ran US program. Why do it again if same goal was achieved more than 50 years ago.
And who are making the space suits? and when are they going to be ready? 1+2=?
Okk
I am so happy for that Genius of Geniuses!
Nah if y’all go to the space center of Houston it’s a space x backpack for 130 dollars
Proudly South African ❣️
😁
why big heavy space ships that costs lots of fuel and takes them more to get there than a bwllon does
Sorry, but it’s a MANNED Landing System.
Really cool! Congratz to NASA and SPACEX. The future of humanity is in the stars!
🚀🚀God Speed NASA 🚀🚀 Space X 🚀🚀
“We’ve been working with xyz who’s with abc and def and so on
Oh and SpaceX.”
Astronauts have always known they ride on parts from the lowest bidder.
Due to gravity. Landing on the moon is more a docking maneuver than a landing.
This decision will prove very important in preventing NASA from returning astronauts to the Lunar surface before the 2030s.
Lunar Starship is pure madness, and not in any positive way.
1St human mission to the moon i repeat 1St moon landing i repeat the Earth is flat।
NASA is just renting from Jeff. NASA awards Blue Origin $3.4 billion Artemis moon lander contract.
“look how many women we have and black people” singal virtue intensifies.
