Borderline trash. I have 4 and only had complaints. Be ready to be just as frustrated looking for your item as dealing with the find my friends app. Would definitely return the apple tags if it was still available

Here’s a tip if you’re trying to hide these AirTags especially from thieves who know about them. I’ll use double sided Velcro to attach to different pockets or wherever to make them more discreet.
AIT Is a piece of junk. I have one on my cats collar. I have the best internet speeds and it never reads it. Amazon won’t refund me. They have stopped doing refunds for people who live out in the country.

The idea of a “Removable Battery “ is not Brilliant at all. Anyone bad person can get rid of the battery if they find your bag and don’t want to get tracked .

I know this is a little bit late but I found this video pretty helpful. I’m definitely gonna buy some AirTags to replace my Tiles now that one of them is dead (it’s one of the models with an irreplaceable battery).
Does the white part is adhesive ?
I was hoping to use it to track items in case they were stolen — like a canon camera bag and a metal “zion” case used to store high end sports cards. If someone stole either it would lead me to the person. Is that also a use?
I don’t have the precision finding feature on findmy app. Is it because I have an old phone, XR?

I was thinking of giving these to grandkids in case they get separated or kidnapped but if the kidnapper will be notified I guess that wouldn’t work out too well.
