New river trash Interceptors are stopping plastic from reaching the ocean

Has any­one stud­ied the affects of the block of nutri­ents going into the ocean?

How iron­ic would it be when they start pick­ing up their own sun­glass­es out in the mid­dle of the ocean.?

Now we need to set up plas­tic … and glass recy­cling centers!!!

How about stop­ping throw­ing plas­tic in the riv­er in the first place? How about stop­ping using plas­tic at all?

We need to stop plas­tics pro­duc­tion period

Peo­ple need to stop throw­ing garbage on the ground. It blows around, down into storm drains and into water­ways. Those peo­ple need to stop being lazy. Throw your trash in a trash recep­ta­cle. Man­u­fac­tur­ers need to stop using so much plas­tic packaging.

As always our engi­neers and sci­en­tists come up with amaz­ing solu­tions to this huge prob­lem of plas­tic waste while the use­less politi­cians with their big egos spend their time squab­bling with each oth­er and suck­ing up to the big corporations.

This should be a stan­dard in every coun­try. ❤ no more land­fills recy­cled sec­tors that the com­mu­ni­ties can ben­e­fit from the prod­ucts just like this!!
