mmm nothing new
The micro USB is the deal breaker for me for sure. Did I see that properly, you don’t even have the option to use regular batteries? You’re stuck being tethered for a few hours or trying to switch it out at the end of the night with other cables? Yeah… This single “find my remote” feature hardly seems worth $30.
And like someone else said, I would have much rather preferred wireless charging. Guess I’ll just have to wait until 2.0.
I want one where can I go
I downloaded the Roku app to my phone and have my remote on my bedside table
Or… use your phone + roku app. Control all your roku TVs and not likely to lose your phone lol
Roku especially the Ultras need to upgrade to Bluetooth pairing to sound devices.
NOT for f*n $30, B.S
ABOUT TIME!! ALL REMOTES SHOULD HAVE LOCATION BEEPER INSTALLED INSTEAD OF NEEDING TO TAPE ONE TO IT LIKE I HAVE BEEN DOING LOL
Ummm im scared cuz i just brought this tv
Does the TV have to be on to find the remote?
Except their remote finder function is terrible at best. I own the Roku ultra that was this feature and after a few minutes of not using the remote the “find remote” feature stops working. It’s like the remote goes dormant and stops receiving signals from the main unit. It sucks. Don’t recommend spending more money on this unit if Ur only getting it for the feature. Roku is fully aware of this issue and does NOT FIX THIS .
Bun bun chachalaca no tiene cason
Can I watch netflix for free by using Roku? What about netflix original?
I’m kinda happy is usb because it’s a free PS4 charger as well¯_(ツ)_/¯
Dude my TV is turned off-
“Roku Voice Remote Pro”, the Name of device.
WE GET IT YOU LIKE THE FIND MY REMOTE. NOW MOVE ON TO PAIRING IT.
Anyone know how to shut this pro remote’s “find my remote” feature off? I used it and now it won’t stop pinging unless I am using it or charging it PLEASE HELP
The version I just bought gives you the option to map out 2 extra buttons for different services like vudu or Amazon video I wish I could pick and choose what all 6 buttons did though.
I don’t have that
Or just use the app
Wow idk that was real!😮
I wish I could find my remote
When was this added because I have not found my remote and it’s been almost a month
I had a VCR with a similar system back in the late 90s. It was handy but would occasionally false-positive on some other noise which could be annoying. Hopefully Roku have a better system.
I don’t have this type of remote
I don’t have voice remote
I lost me remote 🙁
How can I fix it if it keeps finding the remote sounding off every minute by itself 😒 I had it for about a week an I’m having this problem it’s been sounding off all night while I’m asleep an it comes with a charger so I can’t just pop the batter out so it can shut up what do I do ?😩

ok but $30 for a remote
Alot of your dislikes could easily be corrected in the roku os no need change the remote. Maybe roku will do those with consumer demand.
I just got mine idk how to turn on the find function lol like I just tried it and it didn’t work is it something that needs to be set up? Or should it just start working
Oh no. I hate that you can turn it off. That like defeats the purpose
There’s also a button on the roku ultra to ping the remote so it doesn’t need to be without 12ft
How to set it up.
They need the find remote feature included in the phone app itself as well.
My remote has the Apple TV
Is there a way to do it with a tv without power buttons? I have that, and I can’t turn my tv on to activate it
Does concussive. Eicebibchieihiwkd
I mainly bought this as being rechargeable, to support heavy headphone usage, as it’s a lot more convenient to make one connection instead of swapping out batteries, (even rechargeable ones, as those then need recharging offline). I keep a USB charger and 6′ cord right by where I sit, so I can use headphones with the remote and charge at the same time, but I usually just plug it in every few days, when I’m done for the night, and it that usually works fine. It has really good WiFi range, so you can keep listening all over the house, (including upstairs), the only downside being that if you hit buttons inadvertently, you get unintended consequences! 🙂
I also like that it remembers the last headphone volume, so that stays fixed even if the TV volume has changed, (but we use an external amplifier, for TV sound, so that won’t work for everyone.
Wish there was a way you could ring the remote from the app
The where’s my remote doesn’t work
