My zenphone 8 s both back and front glasses got broken (not display) after drop .
The phone is not a phone annymore. Its a micro PC .I want a Nokia N95 .Best phone ever made.
Random question: What’s the Racing game he is playing during the review? Cheers
this is the phone I’ve been looking for. simple and compact. large battery for it’s screen size and fast processor. also the camera is descent.
1080p display is a bummer.
Atleast requires a Full HD+ display for a flagship imo
Omg, it has 3.5 mm headphone jack! 😱
Does it have inbuilt zenui call recorder ??
6:25 where is this location???
Thank you team GSMArena for your in depth all round review. I bought this phone after reading and watching the reviews.
Are these pictures from the camera review part taken in Sofia, Bulgaria, cause I saw some familiar buildings? LOL
Can you tell how well this one works in ‑20°C?
would be nice to mention a price range. thats nearl;y as important as the specs. U mentioned iphone & galaxy being undercut, but that doesnt tell most people a price range of this phone. 150? 700? 900.00? 80.00? guess we gonna google that info.
You should really learn how to drive An F1 car.……
Asus had a real problem with quality control, you can buy the 8 and it’s a 50 50 chance it will Ram dump on 1st turn on.
Good luck with Asus helping you out with that, warranty yes right.
Experience teaches.
I’m surprised that a phone so small has a snapdragon 888, amoled screen, 5G, and surprisingly a headphone jack.
This fone — everything awesome- sound,superfast, display,camera,great 5g speed, but battery — 💩
2022 model yet to be launched. Why good things are always hard to get.
does this phone has o.s updates?
I tried getting mine unlocked then it no longer turns on, i then had to get one from My World Phone for half the price of $860.
Looks like I’ve found my new favourite smartphone brand
picked it up in 2023. Hesitating between this one and Xperia 5 IV to replace Sony XZ3.
THe mixed reviews “hot QC 8 gen 1” and hefty price, the zenfone 9 came up as a same compact size. But, not certain what to expect for that price, with not “so much increased performance”, I decided to look for the previous generation and Asus has a quite convincing reduction right now.
Coming from Sony. And long time ago HTC, when they were still good. Tried also Huawei and Motorola and LG when Google worked with them.
Been almost a decade on the Xperia series.
The format of the zenfone 8 is perfect for me. I prefer a compact phone. Content is consumed at a comfortable screen at home or office. Not on the phone. So, the format is for me the main deciding factor.
Size and feeling of quality and comfort is very high of the Zenfone 8.
Audio is unbelievable good for such a small phone.
Camera is better as Sony XZ3 I’m coming from (a lot of lense distortion and too tweaky). And less fumbly. There isn’t this “processed look” that earlier “quad pixel cameras with 100+ Mpix cameras” used to have. Pictures look natural. For “real photography” I have my “real camera”. But the proportions, colors and settings are easy with pleasing results.
Screen is not as spectacular as the XZ3 oled, with infinite contrast, but is adequate and capable.
Battery is tight but no problem for me.
Don’t forget 5G. It is really fast.
And dual sim for those who need it.
My asus zenfone 8 when using whatsup to snap pic need longer time to capture.. when using camera it instant capture.. whats the problem? Tq…
While using app to scan barcode.. cannot capture
Why I like this phone” it’s remind me of my HTC
i want one
