Fitbit is Google now, so Google, Samsung and Google are making WearOS watches.
I already got a Samsung gear watch 3 and I give my Fossil watch I had to my mom. The only issue with it is with music, it partnered with Spotify, and without a subscription, I don’t get to play a particular song or album and when I’m exercising I don’t want to interrupt what I’m doing to try to change my music.
Google, Samsung and Fitbit are all flowing your health data to Google. Apple is the only one not doing that. Up to us where our health data goes…
I don’t want a watch which I’m forced to charge everyday.
Looks good to me ☺️
The idea of blending 2, possibly 3, OS’s doesn’t sound at all like it will go wrong. Frankenstein OS
Next galaxy watch gonna be amazing
Whatever they release, in the end you are giving all your health data to Google.
i’ve had a lot of experience with samsung watches — from the galaxy gear 2 with the dinky little camera to the watch active 2 and most main watches in between — so i’m a little wary of this new google partnership because android wear has never really been as solid as tizen has been, especially with battery life
Highly doubt the fitness apps will cross devices. They are going to team to bring better hardware and software experience but I don’t see Fitbit coming to anything but a Fitbit. Or else why would people buy an actual Fitbit??. They will prob share the same fitness monitoring hardware. but Fitbit will stay on Fitbit. Google fit on the google device and w.e Samsung has on their own device
What a garbage video, one sketchy announcement dragged into a full length video. Nothing solid or informative, just pure speculation and guessing.
what is this partnership/collaboration called, and can you please make a video of it vs. apple’s watchOS software?
any1 agree?
keep it
Garbage 🗑
Samsung watch provide hardware and bringing in tizen ui, google provide apps and optimize os for samsung hardware, fitbit provide sensor and advanced health and fitness tracking.. it’ll be awesome if it works
Plz give us a good design and plz do a round design and not a squared apple design
Excellent piece! Very informative
im still salty over fitbit dissolving pebble
so I managed to find all the apps in 2:13 but the yellow red blue one. And the S one. Does anyone know which Apps they are?
I hope this works. Apple Watches really need better competition, and android users need better smart watches.
They can NEVER win over Apple Watch 😂
even imagining how this works is confusing, let alone using it. I am sticking with my apple watch.
Battery life?
Huawei with HarmonyOS nailed it
Samsung is stupid, forcing people to use bixby on the side key, i cant bind google assistant to the side key on a 1400 dollar phone, guess ill just buy a huwei next time and fyi i still dont use bixby how stupid are they forcing somthing just makes you back off
A Samsung/Google watch sounds pretty awesome
It better be powerful 💪. if not i will keep this Apple watch on 🤙
please please please can the (non apple) smartwatch people just allow integration with /all/ the fitness apps. eg a google/samsung watch with fitbit would be great. also, why no e/ink e/paper watches?
I wonder why Google doesn’t come out with there own smart watches?? They have their own phones the pixel.. wonder why not there own watch? To really compete with Apple watches
This would kill Garmin
I really find Tizen os very calming to the eyes ‚other than the dull looking wear os ‚Samsung should just keep the tizen and devolope it
I hope Google keeps well away from Samsung, bad experiences with Samsung products
