The HISTORY Channel’s hit survival series “Alone” is back like never before and taking place in the most dangerous location yet. In Season 8, 10 contestants fight to survive in the Canadian wilderness on the shores of Chilko Lake, British Columbia. Equipped with just 10 items and a camera kit, each participant must survive in total isolation, with the hopes of lasting the longest and winning the $500,000 prize. Not only must they endure hunger, loneliness and the elements, but this season, they also face the deadliest predator in North America: the grizzly bear. No camera crews. No gimmicks. It is the ultimate test of human will.

Is he the 1st person to take rations as one of his ten items?
I like the boots and bibs, TBH!
Some people are troubled by the rations. But they’re a solid choice, and it’s not for the nutrition. (It’s about psychology and making meals palatable and solid.) See Brooke Whipple’s YouTube channel for an explanation. (She was on Season 4 and 5)
11 cheeky 👀
Why you didnt choose more humane rifle over bow w arrows drunk w blood to prolonging shocked teriffing agony of finally dieing .hope this haunts you every concscienless unremorseful step of your slipperly way
Why does everybody bring a huge saw? You could get by with one half the size.
Heart breaking to hear about his daughter. I am cheering for this guy.
What was your sleeping bag temp rated at? What lb test line? What sized hooks? What gauge wire?
His pot & sleeping bag don’t look that good.
This guys not gonna make it very far
Good luck from the farm in France
This guy’s kit seems to be the most logical
How are they going to skin and eat the deer they wish to catch, without a knife? I mean, they all choose a bow, but none a fixed bade knife?
“Think” and “hopefully”… this dude isn’t gonna make it
wish you luck
I mean I would have brought a knife
Can they bring 10 lbs of rice as their rations? Or is there a weight limit on rations?
homesick after two weeks and quits
Get two deer. Kill a grizz just cook the meat thorough
wool overalls. Smart man. Alone definitely cut a deal with Silky.
tapped out at 19 days (2 weeks 5 days) due to missing family
He is one of 39 competitors (season 1–8) that tapped out for MISSING FAMILY, fear of wildlife, shelter damaged due to fire, lost equipment, feeling like they did enough, , Lonely and Unprepared.
35 commpetitors were medically evacuated , self injured, starving or BMI too low
In my honest opinion I see that a lot of competitors take a bow that looks like a samick sage. That makes me think that they don’t actually do the bow hunting thing. Not that the samick sage is unworthy. But it just seems like they are grasping at a piece of kit that they are not completely competent to use.
everyone brings the same thing.… tf
When you know to split, taper and fire-harden springy staves, lash them to stakes driven into the ground, you can have a lifting snare any place you want it. You can braid 3 segments of the 20 lb fishline into cordage that’s plenty strong enough to be used for snaring. The springpole not only prevents the catch from chewing thru the cordage, it also keeps the catch up where foxes and weasels cant steal it from you.
I wouldn’t kill those beautiful animals, I’d fish n eat berries etc and mushrooms whatever else but I couldn’t kill the wild animals
A lot of these people have gone through so much the ones I notice being him and Rose both had to deal with a lot different ways but had to deal with a lot and so many people judge every little thing people do it’s very annoying
There was someone that missed out because the6 picked jordon, so now we miss out on content because he didn’t admit what was the case the whole time
It feels like he chose items to be light and portable. Such as the sleeping bag. You are not backpacking, you may move camp one time. It would make sense to take the biggest, warmest sleeping bag that is sold.
