If he had a bow why was he throwing rocks and sticks at grousse?
Canvas XL sleeping bag epic choice.
Did he say rations?
All my best to Tim, who has the courage to not let his health problems limit his life. More power to him.
Nice work 🎆
All these people basically have the same 10 items lol
So I’m assuming they don’t allow anyone on this show to carry a firearm.….in bear country. I haven’t seen one yet. Are guns considered immoral, or what? Afraid of losing viewers?
You exude confidence, I would have liked to see you do more my friend. Best of luck
So with what do you “fend off the bears“with???
I threw para-chord at a charging bear and now I’m dead, thanks History Channel
Good for the rations, everyone leaves out the need for salt. I wonder why no one wants a long parka, over a sleeping bag ?
He goes off to live in bear country and didn’t take at least a 10MM pistol or a 44mag revolver? Crazy.
There is no item that’s gonna help overcome thier biggest obstacle, thier mind. The head gm this show plays on contestants by being alone is by far the greatest challenge.
Ahhhhhh aluminum oven.
No bro No.
so what is he fend off bears with ?
Shouldn’t a 44 Magnum with ammo rounds be part of that kit?
cant believe he tapped out within the first week. he probably never camped out by himself for a week with no food, just to see what it would do to him. this show is for people that can survive WITHOUT food. not an easy thing
He can take rations?
my 10 items
1‑ontario sp10
2‑ferro rod 8 “3/4
3‑bach 10x12
4‑jar 2 liters
5–100 ‘paracord
6‑fishing rope / hooks
7‑Silky BigBoy
8‑sleepingbag ‑30
9- 2 brass wire
10-bow / arrow
and they are in order of importance
307 REPRESENT!!!
Going to a lake to survive and doesnt bring anything to fish or trap. Hope those beans last the whole time. Lol i give him 7 days tops
I would have bet money on this guy with that Duckworth Powder hoody. That’s exactly why I don’t gamble.
Since he had a bad heart attack in the past and they still let him participate why didn’t he have Nitro sublinguals or even aspirin just in case? This guy oversold himself to producers and couldn’t hack it so he found an excuse to tap!
i say they shake up the ‘standard’gear selection that has developed. divide the gear in categories and allow a limit in each.
like: bow and snare wire in a hunting category, can only have one. can have gill net or fishing line, not both. axe/saw/shovel can only have one.
would change things up.
With the bow available, I think the ’emergency’ ration was a poor choice.
In the real deal of course you have what you have. In a set piece competition, I think a tarp would have served you better on the list.
Hey what brand is your carving axe? Thanks!
I REALLY wish they’d stop showing him suffering the Cardio Vascular attack. I’ve seen it enough. It turns my stomach to hear him suffering like that over and over.
Gone in 30 seconds.
very smart pre wrapping the fishing line on a cuban reel.
Ok what item can fend off a grizzly tho?
.45–70 Government and a Marlin 1895 Guide Gun
Glad you didn’t die! 5 days vs 35. The whole bear encounter. You would have got eaten!
Rations? Looks like Bachelor chow.
The title is a bit misleading… Nothing out of the ordinary to fend off bears, in fact those 10 items were pretty much in line with the same 10 items everyone picks in every season. I was surprised to see no tarp on the list though!
Interesting no tarp. Curious to see how water proofing plan for host shelter
axe, saw, paracord, ferrorod, cookpot, sleeping bag, rations, all wasted. A slingbow is a much better choice than a longbow, cause you can use 3 piece takedown arrows and thus, always have your projectile weapon on your person at all times. You can make baked clay balls for use vs small game and birds and save your arrows.
Two things he forgot to pack that were essential for Tim: a box of tissues for all that “crying” he did when he quit. He also forgot a publishing deal for the story he was going to tell everyone on why he was quitting.
great effort, tim
you nearly won
just 68 days short
He had enough with that useless small axe and when the rations ended.
Your home was solid!
1:08 that’s a tungsten carbide blade sharpener 😆dude got 2 items for one with his ferro rod
I thought it was inappropriate the way the show skipped to day 6 to show Tim tapping out and then backytracked. You did the right thing Tim. Just wondering how you qualified in the first place with such a bad heart.
What a loser. I bet eating a steak “fixed” heart problem right away. Stole the spot on the show from someone more in need and more experienced!
Pity what happened. His choice of a sleeping bag was sensational! I want one!
