I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Tom a few times and I can assure you that when you sit down and have coffee with him he is just as genuine in person as he is on the screen.

I’m not usually a person that develops feelings or think I know personalities from TV or movies on a personal level, but u just have to love Tom & Nancy. They r beyond nice people and the outdoor knowledge that Tom has, I’m sure he could tell stories for days. I’d love to have something they made as everything is always so nice and well made with love and care put into each object they make. Reality shows often spin a false narative, but i think Mountain Men captures what all the cast members are actually like and how they live. Besides Tom and the knowledge he has to share, how awesome would it be to run a trap line with Marty…he’s as real a Mountain Man as u could ever get.
In about I don’t know two or three years old depending how old these couple are they really need to go back to civilization because when they get in their eighties and they’re getting weaker and they know they are it’s easier for them to get sick break bones and get injured and if they don’t have a satellite phone to immediately call a helicopter to save their life if they have a heart attack or something then they are really dumb if they do not have a satellite phone or some way that they can contact without leaving their wooden house then they’re really dumb for being out there yeah if they had a satellite phone that would be a lot smarter and obviously they would have flares and other ways to satellite somebody’s for help if they shoot their selves to get mauled by a bear or have an accident where they can’t walk or can’t move or one person is a dying
I hope the trading post has a web site that orders can be filled online and shipped as that would expand their market so they could reach the entire world.…
I would like sit down and listen to Tom.

Sure wish we could watch some new episodes of Mtn. Men. I’ve watched and rewatched several times , being disabled has been made much more livable by the all the new programs like Mtn men, swamp men, not to mention all the new and old programs has made my life much more livable.
