As spot­ted by WABetaIn­fo, What­sApp is work­ing on a new fea­ture that will allow users to hide their online sta­tus from any­one who can’t be trusted.

New pri­va­cy fea­ture will give user con­trol over who can see pro­file and who can­not. The lim­i­ta­tion of every­one, con­tact or no one at all will soon be lifted. 

With this option, users will be able to hide their “Last Seen” time from a hand­ful of peo­ple with­out dis­abling it completely.

This option will also sup­port pro­file pho­tos and BIOS.
