It always looks odd when 4:3 aspect ratio film clips are displayed as 16:9. It makes people look shorter and fatter, and airplanes look longer than they were.
And fast forward to today, Afghanistan is coming, Enter the Taliban
😎✌🖖👍👌😁
Patton was the man
I really feel bad for the 30th infantry division as they suffered that tragedy 2 days in a row
Patton needed to be there not bradly
Dam get brad out of there hes stupid
History channel showing history. Nice.
Heard of this before. It helped with the breakout but so did a few other things too.
Have you ever notice that the logo history uses is almost identical to Minecraft hypixel logo
Great video !
The max bomb load of the B‑17 is just 4,000lbs, not 12,600lbs.
Back then we had president Roosevelt, a real president that had the military’s back. Now we have Potato head Joe who abandons Americans on the battlefield in Afghanistan. What a cruel joke of a president we have now….
Make a line of comments on my thing saying :O
History channel is all about American conquests.
General Leslie McNair was killed in this bombing mission. The guy behind keeping the M4 Sherman as the main tank instead of upgrading to something better equipped to fight the late model German tanks.
Jesus Loves You
The 30th Infantry Division have bad luck for that week.
P‑47=Phantom
Stupid, what else.
“A bit of lace ” B 17..
It’s called operation “COBRA”!
How can it NOT turn deadly…
That CGI literally looks like it was made in the 80s / 90s jeez
Why did patton get a disciplinary action ???
Sick of cringy warpath adds
Battle of Caen
Dropped short . Friendly fire
Canadian soldiers were also killed
Was the B17 the same bombers used in the Tokyo raid?
Satan always tastes blood, and uses his pawns among men to spill it! Fools never learn!
When the German’s are in the air the Allies hide.
When the British are in the air the Germans hide.
When the Americans are in the air everyone hides.
@4:12 “There was no precision bombing in WW2”. This guy should be kept away from speaking about WW2 Because there are so many cases of precision bombing You have to be an amateur to say otherwise. From Blitzkrieg To busting out prisoners in a SS building with towers and walls Blowing up moving tanks, ships, The Stuka dive bomber. The Mosquito fighter/bomber, The Avenger bomber, When you hear a pilot that was there say : I Aimed for the Japanese Sun painted on the deck of the ship And i felt the ship blowing up As i was pulling away ..That is percision .…
When this guy says You had to see the target to hit it .…..Wrong again As the British How they were able to Hit whole towns And cities at night 1,800kms from home?.….They used Percision bombing in smaller more nimble aircraft Like the mosquito that would drop fire bombs and flares to light up targets
Napalm is a real monster of a bomb. I wonder if there are like those nowadays?
Americans , british , canadians, again a single depleted army? 20 to 1 in planes 3 to 1 men , the same in tanks , artillery etc. They won just by numbers? The German army bleed to dead in Russia, whats is left?
Gotta love how around 200 Americans GI killed by their own is tragic, but how the thousands of french civilians constantly being bombed intentionally is just a regular thing
I forget how propagandized History Channel “documentaries” are. Ffs, I’m embarrassed that I liked this garbage as a kid.
If you’re a fan of history and enjoying learning about it, please go to your local library and read some books instead of watching this and incorrectly believing you’re now knowledgeable.
Actually allied forces face more casualties
Imagine being a German in a foxhole and realizing that an endless swarm of bombers is the first thing you experience about the American military. You know that you will always be outnumbered in armaments, materials and equipment. You basically don’t stand a chance over the long haul. The allies will eventually grind your army down and it’s mostly because of America’s Industrial might.
鬼畜米英
At the end, the operation was a success. 75% of the Panzerlehr- Division, the most experienced German armored division, was destroyed within one hour.
Great video.
I hope every one of those men found themselves a nice french woman for the night after liberating those small towns lol
There go the Americans again. Germans were well beaten by the Russians when you showed up.
They forgot Messerschmitt 262 in operation cobra , speed 645 mile per hour fist operational jet fighter used by Luftwaffe
they were so many died after the airstrike
