The Summerboard SBX is unlike any other electric skateboard. It has two motorized caster wheels underneath that allow you to shred the streets as if you were snowboarding. CNET’s Logan Moy spent a few weeks learning to ride so he could figure out who the Summerboard is for.

Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any questions about Summerboard.
Just saw two guys riding summerboards today around my neighborhood and it seemed like they were having a blast! If the board could get to the point where the skateboard wheels and trucks are no longer needed, it would look badass.
I’m deciding between a OneWheel and this.
일반적인 전동장치와 롱보드, 써프보드, 스케이트보드의 프레임이 있는데, 왜?
omg this is something i want to try at some point in my life… i do some snowboarding during winter times and have some skateboarding experience and this looks fun AF
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just learned summerboard and it is really fun. I think the key to learning it is to ride it like a ripstik, balancing on the center wheels. Once you get used to that, the other skills like turning and sliding become much easier. It’s expensive but if you want an electric snowboard that you can ride anywhere, this is it. If you want a lower cost version , check out freebord which rides similarly but has no motor so you need to ride it downhill.
“only $1600” that’s a down payment for a car
Electric Freboard
oh heck yeah. I hope this thing is sick.. here we go
Got the Phantom Electric Skateboard. Would love to try one of these. Looks the Business.💯🍻
You should drop this review… The product is a dud! Many complaints after a short time riding! Buyer beware!
wow its expensive
It’s like a snowboard with training wheels.
That looks really really fun let’s get the price under 800 and it will sell like crazy!
So… a freebord with eletric motor powered caster wheels…
Freebord is your affordable option. They run on gravity so never need charged. No controller so your hands are always free. Light weight…And the foot hooks are included! All for around $300! 😉
Trainer sounds like Napoleon 🧨😂
If you are thinking about buying this to commute.…
.… Just buy a used car from 2004–2006. It will likely be cheaper and last longer than this overpriced, Chinese made, knockoff board.
So is this worth it if I have a Onewheel GT?
The price is hard to justify, but dang it looks fun!
Someone get our guy some wrist-guards.
The feeling of freedom and exhilaration I get from riding my electric skateboard is unmatched by any other activity.
Informative, to the point, and unbiased. Thank you
and how did this get around the freebord patents?
The speed is too much. In nyc, local speed limit for cars is 25. This thing can go up to 40, should be ticketed at that speed. I like snowboarding, but $1,500 for this might be too expensive. I loved to have one if the $$ is a bit high.
Hey man ! It’s a freebord with a batterie
Thank you for the video. I learnt that I better don’t buy a summerboard. What is your suggestion to go from point A to B?
You jog at 137 bpm?
This is actually an E‑Freebord ! It would be very interesting at least the metion whether all concept were already created by @Freebord crew ! Beside that, it looks cool!
So it’s kinda like an electric rip stick? Interesting
I don’t need one to do tricks, I just wanna electric board for transportation
TLDR: get a one wheel.
I own one of these. It’s garbage. By far the worst toy I’ve owned, ever. The learning curve was incredibly long and once I finally figured it out and could rip, it started falling apart at the seams. Go check out the forums, the remotes are flawed, the batteries burn out the terribly designed motherboards and the company itself will find every excuse possible to avoid honouring the warranty. Cool idea, collosal piece of garbage.
if your remote is so likely to fly off.. why there is no wristband strap or something?
Great video
