I actually think the iPad mini is the right size for a tablet. Everything else just feels too big and for me I go to a laptop if I want more real estate
But we are still missing the regular cell phone option like 1300 numbers a landlines
As a student pilot ipad mini is my necessity otherwise I would have never bought a iPad mini.
I prefer iPad pro but cessna’s cockpit is small and iPad pro is not suitable for that.
When I started flying, I used a refurbished iPad Mini 5 w/GPS. It was silver with a HUGE ugly white bezel that made the small screen even smaller. I returned it and bought an iPad Pro 11 (2Gen) w/GPS and it fits on a mount on the yoke perfectly. I later tried the iPad Mini 6 w/GPS and found the screen just too damned small to comfortably read the text in ForeFlight at a glance.
I just need one to watch anime at work and I’m the go
Instead of Apple going bigger with a possible bigger screen than 12.9, they need to made the mini more of a beast with the Mini 7
The iPad Pro Mini sounds good and hopefully it’s already on the horizon to it happening. 🤞🏻✨
for my case, i like bigger screens for the sake of my vision. if i knew how to drive, they’d require i wear glasses due to how nearsighted i am. my eyes also have astigmatism. so bigger screens make it easier when im not wearing my glasses.
but the ipad mini usually have better cases since the mini cases don’t have an annoying 3‑inch chunk of plastic inbetween the power keys due to wanting a long cut out to hold the apple pencil. and i hate it even more when the cases have no plastic or silicone over the buttons. it feels so open, bare, like they are unprotected. and most ipad air or pro cases are either too clunky, like with the power button grievance, or like unprotective, due to the lack of material on the buttons.
but i can see myself using the ipad mini in cases like, crossing items off of my grocery checklist, having it on a restaurant table without it taking up a lot of space, and it having to take up less space in my mini bag which can save enough space up for other items, like my 34-oz water bottle. that’s why i am unsure which to chose. give up portability for a bigger screen, or give up a bigger screen for the sake of portability? that’s my conundrum.
tf were you expecting with the battery life? A week without needing to charge it?! 8 hours with intensive settings is INSANE, not “weak”
Noice
I own the 1st gen 11” Pro, and a 2022 Macbook Pro. The 11” Pro is still fast enough for almost anything, and the Mini 6 is faster. My plan for my next iPad upgrade is to go with the Mini 7 once it pops up. It will serve as my go-to daily carry combined with a foldable keyboard for office and photo edits using Lightroom. In addition, it will function better for note taking or keynotes. For heavy-lifting there’s always my Macbook pro.
i believe i will buy it this year. With the release date of the iPad mini being a questionmark, I don’t know if it’s worth the wait
Too small. I need 11 inches minimum
I have the 12.9 in, 11in and the mini. All have their purposes and I use them all constantly. 12.9 to watch movies, digital art and planning. The 11in was my very first iPad and is my back up for when my 12.9 in is charging, used it for school. The mini is for work purposes and love how compatible it is to carry around. Love them all
CAN YOU PLEASE BUY ME AN IPAD MINIi? caps lock to get attention
For my line of work having a iPad mini is wonderful! I hope the 7 has a A17 pro chip for when I video edit on CapCut.
Drone flyers use this.
That thing fits in to your pockets. Perfect use case
yeah the price is fucking ridiculous
800 hundred euros for that i rather get it used for cheaper
