Amazon’s new Halo View fitness band seems a lot less creepy than last year.

Amazon Halo View looks like a decent fitness tracker, but it’s included subscription service might be the biggest draw.

Just another bland plastic tracker from a company that wants to sell you the world. No thanks, I think the best of a bad bunch is Fitbit, Ill stick with that for a while longer. Also, AMAZON! classically rather liberal with their privacy policies
This guy is boring!
What are the activities available?
Specifically what about swimming?
Wow! Amazon truly is a shameless rip-off. 🤦♂️
the always on emotional analysis is on the highest level of creepy. I can’t imagine the outrage if FACEBOOK was doing this but hey we can trust Amazon right? What could they even do with this data? 🤷♂️
I’m not fan of losing “features” even if it’s one I never really use such as the tone of voice thing. I’m not a huge fan of the design that to me looks like everything else. Also if they were going to include any feature I love having with other devices, I wish it had GPS. But I do think they have a rather decent membership service and by buying this it’s pretty much getting the year of the service (though I wish prime members got it free) and paying a little extra to get the new band so it works out.
Interesting, seems a like several UI design elements were copied from the Apple Watch.
Subscriptions are ridiculous. All of these devices last a couple of years before they die.
At twice the cost of the Xiaomi Mi Band, I can’t say I agree with the competitively priced claims.
Unpopular opinion, the tone checking seems like a nice feature especially for those of us who aren’t really aware of how we sound.

Can you use your voice to send txt messages and can you play Spotify playlists on it? I’m not a huge fan of subscriptions but $4/month after a full year for free is a really good deal. I’m trying to decide between this or the Mi Band 6.
I refuse to buy anything from Amazon and i urge everyone to avoid Amazon as well. Time to put Amazon out of business.
My wife has been eyeing this. It was $30 off (black friday/cyber monday) and $15 off promo if you use a citi card. No brainer
what about HRV?
Great review, thank you! Yep just bought mine for $49, cyber Monday deal! I got the Galaxy 4, watch but I’m sending it back, it’s bigger than my (very small) wrist size! Plus I think this fitness tracker will suit my life style better!
The voice feature sounds very interesting. Some people dont realize the tone of their voice. Which could help in personal and professional relationships
Does the watch have any GPS features? Thanks.
Omg half this video is about features it doesn’t have or the subscription.
How do I know what size to get
How do you set it up? I just got mine and have it plugged in. No lights. Wait 90 minutes? What?
I prefer the base model, the rubber band literally melts my skin.
too much on what NOT in this actual product. please stay focused and stop digressing
Are you okay with Amazon owning your fitness/health data? Erm… you all know how many other fitness apps actually use Amazon to host their apps, yes?
The way the Halo Fitness watch tracks and shows calories is very confusing the only thing I’m not happy with I’d rather just see a daily calorie burn number
Do you have to use the subscription for it to work?
Bad band connection design. You WILL lose it because it falls off without warning.
Jesus love you so much!!!✝️
As a guy with depression, tone of voice tracker may help me be more aware of my tone.
Do you need a Smart phone to connect to the Halo App? If not, how do I get the App?
Is there any accessibility features like on android/Apple/other Amazon’s tablets and screen echo devices such as the echo show
