Instant understanding of how to use a device, LOL. I hate them for being nonintuitive.
from what ive heard, they didnt change the mouses charging way because they dont want people seeing a wired mouse being used
I love the magic mice
That mouse is designed for people who want the Apple looks only. because you can never rely on such a terrible device.
I love the original magic mouse… Sadly, my old one died on me a few years ago.
Why do I not have the new one, the one with the charging plug on the bottom, it’s too blooming expensive!
I have the Pro Mouse, it’s with my original blue iMac along with the Pro keyboard.
Oh, and Apple isn’t the only company that has come up with charging and use problems like the magic mouse… I have the Logitech Crayon (I love the Crayon as it’s much nicer to hold than the slippery Pencils), that I use with my iPad Pro M1. It’s a fraction of the price of the Apple Pencil (both generations) and is far more comfortable to use but, you can’t charge and use it at the same time either as it needs a lightning cable plugged into the top… Both this and the magic mouse aren’t usable when charging.
Lol the frustration in this video is so relatable 😂
If you have an apple product you can be sure I will not talk to you, I don’t talk to stupid.
I love the Magic Mouse idc
They did that to push people towards the track pad
What ever it works and looks good, apple doesn’t car e
The Magic Mouse is Apple choosing form over function. The design itself is astonishing but, function-wise it is a piece of garbage.
I love my Magic Mouse. I always used it correctly from day one. I couldn’t even imagine holding it the other way. I never got hand cramps. The charger is not that bad. Sure it’s inconvenient but it lets you know it’s about to die like 2 days before it will. Just plug it up to your computer when you are finished that day and when you start the next day your mouse will be charged.
I actually really like it frankly, my only complaints would probably be lack of wireless charging and the price.
Using Microsoft mouse with a MacBook.
Really nice combo, can’t even imagine using Apple one.

Polishing Cloth: Allow me to introduce myself
It’s ranting like this that makes my girlfriend ask me why I’m so angry.
Charging isn’t a problem. Plugging it in for 2 minutes gives like 2 weeks of battery. Your not using your mouse 24/7.
The hockey puck was awful, very painful to use.
I have a first-gen Magic Mouse, and the annoying thing about it is that the battery cover falls off if it’s not attached just right.
You can charge it for just 2 minutes for a 9 hour use. For me the placement is not an issue because i can charge it while going to CR or etc. 🙂

i use a logitech m575 with all my computers and love the ergonomics
The magic mouse is by no means horrendous. Yes, it has a dumb charging position (insignificant pet peeve), poor ergonomics (to enable ease of use of gestures) and crappy specs like DPI or single click (very rare in modern mouses!) compared to other mouse of similar pricing, but the one saving grace that makes magic mouse really good are the trackpad gestures. No other mouse in the market have gestures as intuitive and productive as magic mouse.
It’s weird, I can use it for hours with no pain at all. When I use any other and have to deal with a scrolling wheel, that does hurt (even the famous Logitech)
The hockey puck mouse from apple from 1998 is probably worse than the magic mouse
back in 2013 when I wasn’t a pc gamer, I used the magic mouse to edited stuff. but I never bought the one with the charger on the bottom… I stopped and thought (who was the genius that made this.… ) I bought a logitech wireless, never looked back. also I switched to windows
Apple only innovates now when they run out of stock on the old stuff. Even then they’d rather reuse the same components.
A friend of mine has a mouse collection. From old devices he no longer uses, and ones he’s picked up at garage sales and stuff over the years. One day he brought his favorite to work for me to see. It looked very nice. Easy to move around and push the buttons. There was just one thing wrong with it, and it was pretty funny. It couldn’t be picked up. He even brought a surgical latex glove for me to put on. Didn’t help! No matter what, that mouse could not be picked up.
You wouldn’t think that was a big deal, but try using a mouse without picking it up. Just try! 😂
