The Apple Watch Series 7 is a small update that’s mostly about the bigger screen. It’s also more durable and comes with a USB‑C charger. It’s a super nice smartwatch, but does that mean you should upgrade? Dieter Bohn reviews the Apple Watch.

How many years of incremental updates add up to a major one for an upgrade?
Another nice reviews that tells me to stay with Casio Gshock 😎
Finally caving in and upgrading my series 4 after almost 4 years now. I would have kept it even longer but battery life is not there anymore even with lots of features turned off. This new series 7 spoils last me another 3–4 years.
My first apple watch ever. Waited because I knew eventually it would have more uses for me. I’m getting older and need to watch my health a bit more. I also work in an environment where I receive calls pretty often but can’t pull my phone out with ease so the watch will help so much for that. Fall detection I don’t like too much as I feel like when shoveling dirt it’s gonna activate so i hope I can turn that off 😂
Last watch i had was the series 6 didn’t Have it long but the series 5 was my favorite because I had it for a few months definitely wanna get another one
I love your gravel bike!
This watch is not durable, very short drop into a hard surface will confirm that. Complete waste of money, miles off FitBit and other models that have way longer battery life.. When you actually look at it away from the apple brand.. it’s a complete waste of money. However, if you have plenty disposable income and don’t mind charging your watch every day .. then go for it ..
I have the 4 and was considering an upgrade. However it’s still in perfect condition and meets all my requirements so I shall stay with it. I will use the money to buy beer instead. Lots of beer 🙂. Great review I really enjoyed it 👍
My battery doesn’t charge off the back of the iPhone.
Ya forgot the number one thing that renders all Apple Watches useless is defective Digital Crown after a year of use.
Apple watches are wack
I’ve updated to the Apple 7 from a 3. DON’T JUDGE ME
There’s a keyboard what
The best feature on this with the timers….are exactly why this is actually a great watch to buy my chef bf. Perfect and thank you.
Is it a review or a speech? Please put correct thumbnail.
I’ve added my wallet to my Series 7 and there’s one card that won’t show the barcode.
Any help?
So my Series 4 fell off my bathroom counter (don’t judge me, please) and landed on a corner of the watch on the ceramic tile floor. Cracked and dislodged the upper right-hand corner of the crystal. It still worked, however, when I went into my swimming pool, it “freaked out” and basically went to Apple Watch heaven.
Time for a new one. I watched this video to get a feel for the Series 7 (which are still available, although Apple is dropping them). I don’t want to pay for a new Series 8 and certainly not an Ultra. What about the newest SE?
Great review, I have watch 5 returning my 7. Thanks I agree completely!
I miss Dieter
I am one of those people who gets my stuff from my carrier and pays month to month. I had a series 4 40mm for many years, loved it and it did what I needed then the inevitable happened, battery age. It gradually lost its charge faster and faster to the point where I would have to charge it every 6–8 hours. I looked into battery replacement then I checked out my carrier. They offered me a 7 for 13$ a month. I took them up on it, its on the way and I hope I like it.
I’ve had my Series 3 for about 3 years now, and it’s been great. It’s still great! But a bigger, always-on screen is very appealing to me. I don’t need a brand new one for $400 but I’ve seen some decent used or refurbished ones for $200, and heck I’m sure I could get $80 out of my Series 3.
