Oh man, just got my first Mac with the force pad and was just hat­ing it for just the rea­sons you’ve addressed — yay! I did what anoth­er com­menter did and went to 3 fin­ger drag which is per­fect. Now if the key­board would sound lit­tle less rack­ety and feel a lit­tle smoother… and Google would­n’t need every inch of itself cus­tomized to keep it from being a hyper, aggres­sive octo­pus… but hey, great tip! I would­n’t have found it.

Also I turn off nat­ur­al scrolling. It always throws me off.
